Breaking Bad on AMC (5 Viewers)

Season 4 will be released June 5th on Blu Ray...I highly doubt they stream season 4 on Netflix anytime soon. In fact I bet they milk season 4 on video sales and reruns on AMC 1st...after running season 5 they might throw season 4 on Netflix but I wouldn't expect it before the Fall(Oct/Nov).

Season 5 starts July 15th, concludes Summer 2013.

AMC has announced that Breaking Bad season 5 will premiere Sunday, July 15 @10pm. Additionally, it was also announced that the final chapter of the series will conclude a year later, beginning summer 2013.Essentially creating two “final” seasons of Breaking Bad, the divided seasons will each contain 8 episodes. Initially positioned as a “super-sized” final season, AMC’s decision to air Breaking Bad’s final season across two years always felt more like a way to take advantage of fan anticipation – rather than providing an extended conclusion for one of television’s best series.

Season 4 DVDs set to be released on Netflix on 6/5. Should give me enough time to get through S4 in time to watch S5 live.

Or just get a 1M free trial to Netflix and you're set. Seasons 1-3 are available via streaming now. Season 4 is then available via DVD starting tomorrow (4 disks total).

AMC is doing a marathon soon (starting Sunday?) of all eps, in order.
I'm going to need a bigger DVR.
Didn't catch the show until a S1-3 Netflix bender last fall, so I haven't seen Season 4 yet. Also don't feel like adding Neflix disc service for a few weeks. For anyone in a similar situation, all of Season 4 is shown from June 23-27, as part of this marathon. Excited that it'll all be shown over a few days.

Entire marathon schedule, for those interested.

Walt is gonna need to kill Jesse by the conclusion of this series or Ima be pissed. There's no other way for this to end. If the cancer doesn't get Walt, Jesse is his only remaining liability.
im more interested in the walt/hank storyline. i just hope they dont go dexter on us and have hank start "feeling something" for walt
Hank is a dummy. Walt could tell him "I am Heisenberg" and Hank would just chuckle.
noooohank is the man, he is just too blinded by his dorky brother in law to ever consider him to be involved in any criminal activity.
I take your noooo and raise you a big "ummmm, noooo"I think Hank has known about Walt for a while (middle of S4). He's not saying anything because it's his BIL and he wants to do it himself while he's injured. There's no way Hank could have figured out Gus and not be on to Walt.So I just finished all the episodes last night. While the complexity of Walt getting Gus is probably the most awesome thing ever, two things bothered me about the end:- Is there no security at the old folks' home?- Wouldn't Gus have been very suspicious that Tio had no DEA protection after he spoke to them? If he said anything of consequence he would have been under protection.

Damn I have two more shows to watch in Season 3 - then have to complete Season 4 in time for the premier. What a great show. What I find funny is how easy it is for guys to hate Skylar - while women find her to be a sympathetic character. God I hate that ingrate.
The women I know that watch the show don't like her either.
Why do guys hate Skylar? My friend can't stand her but I haven't had a chance to ask him yet since I just finished watching. The only thing she did wrong was the money to Beneke, but she did that for a legit reason - didn't want the IRS eventually finding Walt.

She's a hypocritical, gold-digging, holier-than-thou whore who:1) Smoked while pregnant2) Got an old job back for the sole reason of flirting with (and eventually screwing) a former co-worker3) Offered up Walt's money to her sister as if it was hers to give away4) Had no problem cooking Ted's books while simultaneously chastising Walt for cooking meth5) Gave Walt's money to Ted6) Is really only back with Walt right now because of the money... despite how much she hates him for it

I don't think he's on to Walt. The Gale thing threw him off. He will be on to Jesse now as the DEA starts looking at Gus...they'll see instances where Gus and Jesse met (probably the hospital).

I also don't think he's on to Walt. Kind of a blind spot there, he doesn't see Walt as the kind of "man" that could be involved in this.I think Jesse will end up leading him to Walt. Also wonder if they will try to redeem Jesse, maybe him struggling to go straight for real. Throw in the poison and such, and it could be quite a struggle for Jesse to walk away without his revenge, and add in the stress of Hank following him or bringing him in for questioning, etc. Dunno, just speculation while looking forward to it.

So I just finished all the episodes last night. While the complexity of Walt getting Gus is probably the most awesome thing ever, two things bothered me about the end:- Is there no security at the old folks' home?
The only security I've ever seen at an old folks' home was designed to keep the residents in, not keep anyone else out.

I get that she's supposed to be an unlikeable character, but how was she supposed to react when she found out her husband was lying to her about cooking meth?

:lmao:

I am wondering if and when Jesse is going to learn the truth about the poison and what the fallout will be.

1) OK. Not a huge reason to hate her.2) I thought she was doing it to re-establish herself in case they get divorced.3) How is it Walt's money? They are married and he was doing everything for the family anyway.4) Not sure why she caved on the books, but she didn't appear to have a motive5) She did this to avoid the IRS finding out everything6) No evidence of this.I dunno, I see Skylar as being on board more than an adversary. She's just not helping much...

I've been to a few and you always need an appt and have to check in and show ID. Now that I think about it I guess its a moot point since they wanted them there.

Halfway through Season 2. This show is almost too tense to watch. Especially right before bed. It's like every minute of every show you're waiting for some big time thing to go down. My heart may not make it through this season.

Damn it gets more intense than the Tuco stuff? Seriously not sure I can handle it - definitely not before bed time anymore.

Is there a more "intense" show in the history of television? Where your heart rate is up over 100 for an entire hour long?

I literally thought about fast forwarding through some of it and reading a recap of that weeks show because I couldn't handle the tension. Maybe I'm just a baby, but this is ridiculous intense from episode one through season 2 without a minute to catch your breath.

:goodposting: It's in the running for "best TV Show ever" for good reason.... Just wait.

Yeah...I think Walt kills Jesse at the end of these 8 episodes. Jesse's too much of a link. Hank knows about Jesse's past...and as soon as it comes out that Jesse was seen with Gus....he'll put it together.

You have no idea how much more intense it gets.

Oh boy are you in for some good stuff. I'll probably do a marathon session to prep for this premier.

They just started from the beginning again on AMC 2 nights ago. They've already shown 5 episodes though. I watched the whole series going into last season and it looks like I'm doing it again this year. I notice new little things now in every episode.
