I'm assuming it was a warning to Jesse for taking sides with Mike about the distribution of the cash. What was the deal with the conversation at the end of the show between Jessie and Walt? Walt eluded to Victor flying too close to the sun.
Walt is thinking about taking out MikeWhat was the deal with the conversation at the end of the show between Jessie and Walt? Walt eluded to Victor flying too close to the sun.
Walt was threatening Jesse, no? He was pissed at Jesse for telling Mike he could take the "legacy money" out of his share. What was the deal with the conversation at the end of the show between Jessie and Walt? Walt eluded to Victor flying too close to the sun.
I took it as Walt thinking Gus cut him because he knew too much about the business. Walt was then thinking as soon as he knows what Mike does, he can Victor him. Maybe? What was the deal with the conversation at the end of the show between Jessie and Walt? Walt eluded to Victor flying too close to the sun.
I immediately thought he was talking about Mike, how Mike is like Victor and pushing his luck; my wife immediately thought he was "warning" Jesse, "he thought he could cook on his own". Watching it a second time, still wasn't clear to either of us.Walt was threatening Jesse, no? I took it as Walt referring to Mike since he was taking liberties with the money that he maybe shouldnt have (Mike making "his guys" whole by paying them from all three of their shares).Also...the nanny cam line has to come into play later, no? And why did they leave the lab tent up? They turned on the poison and left the house with the tent still erect.I'm assuming it was a warning to Jesse for taking sides with Mike about the distribution of the cash. What was the deal with the conversation at the end of the show between Jessie and Walt? I assumed the pest people would just take it down when they packed up all the equipment. And why did they leave the lab tent up? They turned on the poison and left the house with the tent still erect.
So the poison wouldn't get on the cooking equipment.I took it as Walt referring to Mike since he was taking liberties with the money that he maybe shouldnt have (Mike making "his guys" whole by paying them from all three of their shares).Also...the nanny cam line has to come into play later, no? I think they leave it for the Vamonos Pest team to disassemble for them. Although, conceivably, if they don't open it up the carpet underneath could still hide insects and cause problems for the now-clean pest control business. They turned on the poison and left the house with the tent still erect.
Walt is a full on bad ### now.- he controls the business and I control him- he doesnt go in to talk to Skyler, screw her she will fall in line, I will just eat this apple- How do you feel (to Jessie). Cuts him off....I meant about the moneySklyer is going to be a liability soon, will Walt call in Mike? I dont think he is far from being able to.

Ok. I went back and looked and the lab equipment is still in it. I originally thought they packed it all up. But the carpet underneath is left untreated, so no bueno. So the poison wouldn't get on the cooking equipment.I took it as Walt referring to Mike since he was taking liberties with the money that he maybe shouldnt have (Mike making "his guys" whole by paying them from all three of their shares).Also...the nanny cam line has to come into play later, no? I didn't take as much joy in that scene as I would have imagined, given Skyler's meltdown.Marie!SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!![]()
It wasn't a shark jump, just one bad plot line.Yep.Huge jump theLandry is not above taking a guy out. He's done it before.Landry!moment there.Betting he has a pretty decent sized role in his new gig.
Both. Mike overtly, Jesse a little veiled.I immediately thought he was talking about Mike, how Mike is like Victor and pushing his luck; my wife immediately thought he was "warning" Jesse, "he thought he could cook on his own". Watching him react to what Badger was doing on the guitar after he was playing that was hilarious.Skinny Pete was smoking on the keyboard.
Landry disabled it.the nanny cam line has to come into play later, no?
Yeah I know, but why even have that line if its not gonna come into play later, perhaps unless it was so Landry could earn a little trust from Walt and Jesse...maybe?Landry disabled it.the nanny cam line has to come into play later, no?
Sure. I think it was just meant to tell the viewer that the exterminators are on the look out for snooping homeowners. Just trying to make the whole idea more plausible.I think the idea of cooking out of these homes is a stretch. I bet if you asked an exterminator they'd say it was not uncommon for a homeowner to return to the house unexpectedly.Yes.Yeah I know, but why even have that line if its not gonna come into play later, perhaps unless it was so Landry could earn a little trust from Walt and Jesse...maybe?Landry disabled it.the nanny cam line has to come into play later, no?
Thats why i love this angle, i keep waiting for someone to walk in on them, keeps the tension levels highI think it was just meant to tell the viewer that the exterminators are on the look out for snooping homeowners. It's a stretch but trivial at this point in the story.
I believe Landry will be a bigger part of the show this season.I think it was just meant to tell the viewer that the exterminators are on the look out for snooping homeowners. AMC wants to keep the cachet of their network up for as long as possible. The show has slways been a bit unrealistic. The unowned mobile labs isnt too much of a stretch considering other things. I almost like the idea. Skyler and Marie are horrible. That may have been my least liked scene of the series so far. This 8 episode season is a bad idea though. Whats the point?
Of course Jesse was going to wise up to Walt. With how stupid Walt has become, it was inevitable that he would do or say something to tip Jesse off to the fact that he's gone around the bend.I like the Vamanos Pest idea.
As I mentioned last week, I'll be disappointed (in the show) if Jesse doesn't wise up to Walt very soon. If the little Victor speech doesn't officially set that in motion, then something's off. I don't care how much he's been manipulated or how much he longs for a daddy figure, at some point, he's just an idiot. I thought he was already past that point. Now, he's absolutely past it.
There's simply no way that Jesse can't see that the Walt he once knew is gone and has been replaced with a time bomb that will get him killed or kill him himself.Aside from Mike being a decent human being, he's also the only one Jesse needs of the two.
If this thing drags out any longer, then I think they are artificially trying to build suspense and not being true to the characters (unless anyone believes Jesse a complete doe-eyed buffoon).
Whose father just threatened to kill him and his mother.Jesse is now like a child of divorce having to choose between his parents.
Or maybe if Walt tries to kill Mike's granddaughter? Seems unlikely but she's worth a late-round pick in the death pool. This would wake Jesse up to Brock and get the tangent spinning.
Jesse still feels a ton of guilt. Walt has been nothing but gentle and reassuring to Jesse this season (until the final scene of the last episode). In past seasons Walt was a total ##### to Jesse 90% of the time. I think it's totally plausible that Jesse hasn't wised up yet.Obviously Walt is ridiculously overconfident at this point and his demeanor makes it clear that any decency he had is gone. There's a total calmness to everything he does that hasn't been there in the past. It will be what does him in, but I think his appeasement of Jesse and Marie has been totally effective so far. His attitude with Mike is what's going to tip the first domino that leads to his unraveling.I like the Vamanos Pest idea.As I mentioned last week, I'll be disappointed (in the show) if Jesse doesn't wise up to Walt very soon. The steady buildup in Walt's transformation sure took a mega-leap this season. Now he's not making one decision with anyone else in mind but himself.I know this is the last season, but I would much prefer that slower transition. The shut up bit was pretty gratifying, even if they overdid Marie building up to it.The homeowners coming home is easily addressed by putting a man outside the house while they're cooking. If I have an issue with this season, it has nothing to do with the plausibility of the magnet or the pest control set-up, but with what a moron Walt has become.
I kinda get that, but in fairness he did just kill Jesse James so he's probably feeling pretty untouchableThe steady buildup in Walt's transformation sure took a mega-leap this season.
