Wouldn't it be cheaper if Mike or Lydia just killed those hazard pay/legacy money guys? They're under surveillance by law enforcement anyway so they're no longer useful. May as well kill them and save the money.

No spoiler here, just wondering about what drives Walt to the "guns".

The last episode makes me think it is Mike.

I think Walt is going to try to do something stupid like try to "whack" Mike's guys who he is paying money too. Then along the way he's going to put himself on a huge hit list and have to move away.

Episode 8 ending with Walt coming back, taking out Mike and his operation and claiming the "throne".

Then 9-16 have to be about the inevitable Hank-Walt showdown.

This. Plus they would all have to die within a matter of days, because once the remaining living ones got wind of their counterparts getting knocked off, someone's cutting a deal right quick and heading to witness protection.

It wasn't about misdirecting us. It was so lae in the episode that I knew it had t be coming at the expense of other story lines, so it had me just waiting on it instead of watching the story grow more organically. Spoiler all you want. I'll just post and not read up for an extra week. Unless there is a way to ignore people in a specific thread only. Is that an option? Also, what's so hard about using the spoiler tags anyway? You guys are just being douches about it at this point. Bet you're the same bastards that never use their turn signal.

Yea, I am anti-preview guy on any show I watch.

It's not that it "spoils" anything (I think spoil is the word that got everyone tangled into the past conversation)

It's just that a preview will offer some sort of scene where it allows you to recognize and understand that something is going to be taking place or a character will be in a certain position.

I just prefer to not know that at all.

Something as simple as a preview showing Skinny Pete.

Not that it spoiled anything, but in my mind I know there is an upcoming scene where Skinny Pete is involved.

Just preference that is all.

What was the deal with the conversation at the end of the show between Jessie and Walt? Walt eluded to Victor flying too close to the sun.

Walt was threatening Jesse, no? He was pissed at Jesse for telling Mike he could take the "legacy money" out of his share.

I immediately thought he was talking about Mike, how Mike is like Victor and pushing his luck; my wife immediately thought he was "warning" Jesse, "he thought he could cook on his own". Watching it a second time, still wasn't clear to either of us.

If I didn't see the flash forward, I'd really be pulling for Mike and Jesse to take Walt out and run their own ####. That would take a huge set of brass ones by Gilligan but it would be awesome for shock value alone.

I don't read show descriptions for the same reason. I feel like if a contributor to the thread asks, that should be enough. It requires an extremely minimal amount of effort to tag it. That's why I compared it to using a turn signal. It is being courteous with no real effort involved whatsoever. Just a flick of the wrist. Like typing out a spoiler tag..

Just watched all 4 seasons plus the first 3 of season 5 in the last 2 weeks. I almost missed this show thinking it was a comedy? Anyway, it is awesome, but there was a few times with Skylar that the show really was slow.

Inconvenient or unreasonable? No. Unlikely? Yes. People are going to talk about the previews like they do movie trailers. Last 2-3 pages have been torture going over this again and again.
