I'm late to the party, started watching a couple months ago and just caught up. This week was my first live episode. I can't imagine waiting a week between episodes for 5 seasons, the waiting is killing me. So glad I watched in a couple big bursts.
Anyway... The Heisenberg on the wall bugs me. Who would spray paint that? Possibly Marie, but I don't think so. Makes me think it all comes out, Walt goes down and it becomes a huge news story. Vandals break in, like the kids skating out back, and some squatters/kids end up spray painting the walls. It also explains the shocked neighbor, he disappeared and is gone for a year and then shows up in front of his house. Makes me think either Hank lives or Marie goes to the DEA after Hank dies. It all comes out, Walt disappears with Saul's guy while the news story breaks. Comes back a year later after his 53rd birthday.
Also, Walt being alone on that birthday morning makes me wonder about his family. I've always thought Walt was going to get his family killed. I would be shocked if at least Skyler or Walt Jr didn't die in the end. Everything Walt worked for all falling apart and losing what's most important to him.
So in the next episode Gomey dies first, I think that's a given. I thought Hank was going to get the bullet when he was on the phone with Marie but I'm glad he didn't because no way they wouldn't hear some cars out there. So now I'm thinking he might live. Gillian loves to let you think you know what's going to happen and then flip the tables. As soon as he made that call and told Marie he loved her every fan of the show was waiting for a bullet and knew he was dead, maybe he makes it? I don't think so though, I think in classic Mexican standoff fashion almost everyone in the desert dies. Gomey will pick off a few Nazis before he dies and so will Hank no matter what happens to him. Jesse and Walt both make it. Meth Damon and/or his uncle might drive off as the tribal police show up.
The shootout didn't bother me with them not dying right away but one thing did, would a car door stop rounds form the rifles the Nazi right hand man was shooting. Walt is in that car and it's riddled with bullets, would a car door stop them? I don't really care, but I was thinking it.
Finally, biggest unknown to me is who is Walt going to kill on his 53rd? Jesse? Marie? Hank? Nazis? In the end I've always thought it comes down to some of Walt's family dying and Jesse killing Walt in the end. Can't wait.
