"I feel very capable of playing on Sunday"Spears and James said TO was on the field right now running routesthis slipped by ... how crazy.
The media, perhaps ... but the police at least had collected evidence of a suicide (Owens' "confession"). What happened since Owens was interviewed by police, I don't know.... this was all one big rush to judgement by the police and ...

i don't know, he's convincing me ....he's a damn good actor if he's knowingly lying.

He medical attendant..who is kim? wife? girlfriend?
I don't think it's "obvious" that that's what happened any more than the opposite is "obvious". The problem is that every person or entity involved has its neck stuck way out here and has its own interests to protect, and TO has resources that virtually anyone else would lack in order to control/spin information about this incident. We're all in the dark. What I do think is clear is that as of this afternoon, TO's actions (scheduled presser; playing catch) indicate that he's out of physical danger and he's trying to put this behind him. What happened before this afternoon we'll never know. As odd as I thought last year's circus was with the Eagles, this one takes the cake. Amazing.Dont the words "act as if nothing happened" mean anything. He obviously did this, regrets it and is now going to try to sweep it under the rug.
Lies, lies and more lies. Now they are saying the Police reports are false?!? The Police took advantage of Terrell? What a friggin joke....Exactly, that made no sense. It's obvious the media is spinning this thing. ESPN started this trend IMO. Sportscenter is nothing more than the "60 Minutes" of the sports world now and I refuse to watch, it makes me sick. It's ridiculous.Sooo, if this was all one big rush to judgement by the police and media and TO didn't attempt suicide......HE'S a jerk??Well, if it was all misinterpreted and he didn't attempt suicide, I hate him even more. Today I started feeling sorry for him, and praying he would be ok. I just heard he is laughing it off, saying the suicide report is totally false.
What a jerk.![]()
This is a perfect out. Now it all comes down to whether we, individually, believe this or not ... though our opinions don't matter at all. The truth is now pretty much unknowable by anyone but Owens.Says he wasn't coherent when cops asked if he tried to harm himself. Didn't remember the cops or doctors.

And he's a VERY good start against the Titans if he starts. This is a perfect out. Now it all comes down to whether we, individually, believe this or not ... though our opinions don't matter at all. Can we all move on now?Irvin looks like he just got done smoking a bowl....![]()
his eyes are barely openI do and if he doesn't I think it is because of the injury and none of this today.so, who thinks he plays this week?
In other news it appears Michael Irvin may be on something at the moment. He's barely coherent on ESPN. Usually he's just loud and louder. Today he sounds like he's stoned.

Unreal. This was the most overhyped, botched media event since Heraldo went looking for dead mobsters and their buried cash. PLEASE lock this thread up asap mods.Final remarks TO says he should practice tomorrow.
Irvin definitely doesn't look like he's all there.Irvin looks like he just got done smoking a bowl....![]()

Hi Folks,Terrell Owens just finished speaking at the Cowboy's facility. In a nutshell, he's good to go.He was asked if he thought he could play Sunday. Owens answered, "Yeah, I just gotfinished working out." He had been on the field running routes with quarterbackDrew Bledsoe. He said very clearly, "There was no suicide attempt."He also said, "The report of me taking 35 pills is absurd."As far as his treatment at the hospital, he said "rumors of me having my stomachpumped are untrue."[[[[[[[[[[[[[[ OUR VIEW ]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]Speculation about this will rage for a while I'm sure. That's really not of interest to me. What we're looking at is that he appears tobe fine and he's practicing on the field. If you have an Owens owner in your league that is panicked, I'd make a move forhim right now. There are surely risks involved as there has been for him since dayone of the season, but he looks like he's ok and hopes to play Sunday. If not Sunday, you know he'll be ready for Philadelphia.J***********************Joe BryantOwner - Footballguys.com
Based on what I've encountered, it could have been a suicide attempt and he could be out doing whatever he wants by now. That doesn't by any means show that there really was a suicide attempt. But maybe it'll help with some of the incredulity many people would quite naturally feel about a suicidal person being released so soon.interesting, good discussion btw. sounds like the fact that he was released so soon isn't necessarily indicative that it wasn't some type of a suicide attempt.
Hope your right..I need him this week..I love it...much a do about nothing.8-140-2 against the Titans.

I'd bet my life savings that he sits.so, who thinks he plays this week?
