Is Cushing a legit LB 1 going forward? Everytime I watch this guy I come away so impressed with his involvement in the game and how much he is doing out there on defense.

I think he has been a legit #1 since the first game of the season. The guy is just a beast. In every play it seems.

Only Patrick Willis and Thomas Davis before he got hurt have averaged more points than Cushing in my league. The guy is all over the field, plays with energy and emotion, is a sure tackler and has a knack for the big play. And he's been playing hurt all season. I say yes.

I am in agreement that he has been amazing all season.

I guess I am just hoping that a pace even similar to this one will continue going forward. Houston was so impressed with this guy from the get go, and they handed him a starting gig even though he was hurt at the start of the year.

My guess and I am hoping that he is just really this good and he will be a top end LB'er for years to come.

what hes done from week 1 and on was amazing considering he didn't go through training camp and preseason.
