Brian Griese (1 Viewer)

You put a backup qb in your top 20?
Agreed, that's high. But as far as ranking Griese amongst the rest of the backups, he's got to be towards the very top given Rex's track record.

8 games played in 3 years due to injuries? Man that's scary.

Very good signing / insurance policy for the Bears.

Fully agree. Keep in mind that Brian tore TWO ligaments in his knee(ACL?MCL) and may not be able to fully participate in the Spring OTAs. He might not be ready until late July, early Aug, when camp reopens.I would expect Rex to win the job, but Griese to be right on his heels.

The Bears will pound away with a solid RB tandem (Benson/T.Jones). Grossman should win the job, and even if Griese does win it, don't expect anything better than what Roethlisberger puts up in Pitt.

If you have a league that uses the idiotic "team quarterback" then Chicago went up. Other than that, I don't see him as anything more than a insurance option for Grossman at this point.

Even if he wins the job, he's in Chicago. The team with the league's number one defense and a solid running game. A team with only one quality receiver. Then factor in Grossman and I just cant make much of him.

Fair points.Griese's a solid QB, He will win the starting job.

He will do well there. His value will be low, and I do see Him putting up good numbers.

So I am happy no one agrees with me.
