Bridgewater suffers potentially serious knee injury (2 Viewers)

Pretty much guaranteed Shaun will start week one if Teddy is out... then again, this offense relies heavily on the running game so if they pickup a veteran he could learn as they go. But Hill is not the "season" answer.. If Teddy is out they need to bring in someone that could start say week 5, they have a bye on week 4.
I think you're definitely right on that - whoever they bring in could definitely be ready to start after the bye.  And if Hill is managing the games well enough, he could stay in a starting role, and if he's not impressing, a change is made.

Yes. I'm in a two quarterback dynasty league and he was a very important piece to that team.   I'm also a huge Vikings fan and today sucks.
Sorry man.   This absolutely blows.  I really liked the kid.  Forget fantasy ... I just enjoyed watching him develop and thought he was going to turn into a very good NFL QB.

Problem with anyone they would bring in is they would have to learn a new system on the fly with the season days away.

As unexciting as he is, Shaun Hill is probably the best option in the short term.  He knows the system and personnel and is familiar with his teammates.  As long as he can hand the ball off the ADP and McKinnon, complete some short, safe passes and avoid turning the ball over, he might just be OK.
They will roll with Shaun Hill. When Hill was in there, in Detroit, Calvin Johnson never missed a beat and as a matter of fact, his numbers went up.

I doubt that.
You shouldn't. Wentz is hurt and hasn't played isn't close to ready, Eagles other option is Chase Daniel who has looked like Chase Daniel. If it was week 4 and they were 0-4 then sure, but right now he's unavailable.

It will be Hill for the short term.  Wouldn't be surprised if they traded for Matt Cassel, he is still on TEN.  Knows Zimmer's system, and most of the team mates.

This is really bad, its all over the radio here. They are saying worse than an ACL tear. Yeah official news conference at 4 PM Central.

Such a shame, he and the Vikings offense were progressively getting better. Here's hoping there's no arterial or nerve damage.

My guess is that whoever they use at QB, they are going to do some serious clock eating when they have the ball. Some boring ### games for sure.

OOOOFFFF. He's a seriously smart kid too to have done something so dumb (perfect GPA with an Engineering degree). This could have been his chance.

(For those who don't know, Heinecke won the Walter Payton award as a sophomore at ODU, and broke all kinds of passing records, but was largely unknown coming from ODU, an FCS school that transitioned to FBS during his Junior and Senior years)

That would have been too soon to get MRI results and wouldn't explain the rush to the trauma center
Maybe I'm wrong in this but from what I remember reading in other cases, we may be rooting for a break as apposed to a tear, correct?  Isn't it better to break a bone than to tear a ligament?
