I think you're definitely right on that - whoever they bring in could definitely be ready to start after the bye. And if Hill is managing the games well enough, he could stay in a starting role, and if he's not impressing, a change is made.Pretty much guaranteed Shaun will start week one if Teddy is out... then again, this offense relies heavily on the running game so if they pickup a veteran he could learn as they go. But Hill is not the "season" answer.. If Teddy is out they need to bring in someone that could start say week 5, they have a bye on week 4.![]()

Sorry man. This absolutely blows. I really liked the kid. Forget fantasy ... I just enjoyed watching him develop and thought he was going to turn into a very good NFL QB.Yes. I'm in a two quarterback dynasty league and he was a very important piece to that team. I'm also a huge Vikings fan and today sucks.
yea, don't even bother.. There is always one in the group that seems to take pleasure in injuries to other teams.Come on, dude.
Trade for Aaron Rodgers so he has a chance to win the division. ES&D CheeseCurdsOpening up their brand new stat of the art stadium - with no QB!

They will roll with Shaun Hill. When Hill was in there, in Detroit, Calvin Johnson never missed a beat and as a matter of fact, his numbers went up.Problem with anyone they would bring in is they would have to learn a new system on the fly with the season days away.
As unexciting as he is, Shaun Hill is probably the best option in the short term. He knows the system and personnel and is familiar with his teammates. As long as he can hand the ball off the ADP and McKinnon, complete some short, safe passes and avoid turning the ball over, he might just be OK.
You shouldn't. Wentz is hurt and hasn't played isn't close to ready, Eagles other option is Chase Daniel who has looked like Chase Daniel. If it was week 4 and they were 0-4 then sure, but right now he's unavailable.I doubt that.
Can you get out on Huber to coach softball?McNabb is one of my kid's softball coaches. I'll see him tonight and suggest he give Zimmer a call.

Heinecke was my first thought as well...but FBG doesn't even have him on the depth chart anymore? How long is Heinecke out? Stave?
This is really bad
They need to dump him or Petty and Petty is worth nothing so they may be able to get something from the Vikings for him.wow, that would be interesting
Vikings backup quarterback Taylor Heinicke will be sidelined for three months after severing a tendon in his foot while attempting to kick in a window to get himself and his friend back into the friend's locked apartment.
This might make the most sense...Wasn't Jerrick McKinnon a QB in college? Go Wildcat with McKinnon.
Pretty sure right now he looks like this guyYou have GOT to be kidding me.
just a month ago, and it wasn't really covered much back then due to him being a 3rd string QB and not in the plans.. Well until nowThis happened quite a while ago.You have GOT to be kidding me.

OOOOFFFF. He's a seriously smart kid too to have done something so dumb (perfect GPA with an Engineering degree). This could have been his chance.

That would make them watchable and we could fire up the Tebow thread. Maybe coax shnikies out to talk about his greatness.Tim Tebow to the rescue!!!
This actually makes senseWonder if Zim will make a call to Marvin about McCarron...
Maybe I'm wrong in this but from what I remember reading in other cases, we may be rooting for a break as apposed to a tear, correct? Isn't it better to break a bone than to tear a ligament? That would have been too soon to get MRI results and wouldn't explain the rush to the trauma center
