"The Bucs, looking for players capable of providing an offensive spark, have re-signed tight end Jerramy Stevens and parted ways with quarterback Bruce Gradkowski."

I liked Gradkowski, he will surely get signed somewhere as he has real game experience form when he was a rookie.

Looks like the Bucs are going to go with Garcia and Griese...3rd QB might be the rookie they drafted. I think both Griese and Garcia will see time this season.

Unless someone gets injured, the Bucs will keep 4 QBs. The only competition will be between Griese and McCown for the #2 spot. The depth chart will look like:GarciaGrieseMcCownJohnson

Garcia is #1, I just don't think he will stay health the whole season and Griese will log some time in as the starter.

Garcia in '08, Johnson in the second half of '09, and Johnson's a fantasy stud in '10.

After all, he is an audible alumn. :lmao:

You forgot about Jake Plummer.....he'll get as much playing time with the Bucs as Chris Simms

I'd really love for my Panthers to sign Gradkowski. Hasn't played too badly for a late round pick who's played a lot in his NFL career thus far. Has some long term potential I think. Maybe not ever a super starter but def a great QB to have on your roster.

The Skins game last year sealed Grads fate. Garcia goes down in the first quarter with the Bucs already up big...Gruden turns to Grads to manage the game home for a win...but Grads completely choked.

Gradkowski was claimed off waivers by the St. Louis Rams yesterday. He'll probably beat out Brock Berlin to be the #3 guy behind the fragile tandem of of Marc Bulger and Trent Green.

... which means Gradkowski should be playing by week 6.

Gradkowski could make a great arena football QB. He is very accurate with his short passes, and mobile in the pocket. Problem is that he is a weakling.
