this could be a moot point pretty soon...

if simms loses a few more games, there won't be a season...

not too many teams come back from 0-3, 0-4 to make the playoffs...

if they go 0-3 (CAR next week, not an easy game), they need to win 10 of remaining 13 games to get to 10-6... 9-7 no guarantee of wild card spot...

I think if they get to 0-4 and Simms is still largely responsible, Gruden could make a change.It's still a bit of a veteren team though, you make a change earlier than that and you'll lose the locker room. Not sure guys like Brooks, Barber, Alstott, Galloway, etc are going to want to hear the 6th-rounder is taking over.

I've been pimping Gradkowski since day-1, but you can't expect miracles from a rookie QB. It seems to me they have other problems besides QB play.

That said, Gradkowski is going to be a very good QB, IMO. People are going to be really surprised at what this kid can do (eventually). I'm not saying he'll set the league on fire his rookie year, but the dude can play.

So, by that logic, Timmy Chang should be starting for the colts? Not cut by the Cards, and currently listed as 3rd QB on the eagles depth charts?Records are great, but not everything. I think Simms, leader of the Bucs into the playoffs in his first year starting, is going to surprise some people this year.

No. I thought he would do better than 1 TD, 7 INT's, a 54.7 Completion %, and an overall 46.3 rating.

he's been pretty bad. awful actually, since the first saints game. but he's a rookie and deserves a shot.
