there's such a high correlation between ERA and all those others stats you listed. Using ERA is just a short-hand proxy.

I drafted 6 SP that threw between 167-203 innings last year.  praying 4 of them repeat.  last year I had literally no SP and my roided offence still got me over .500.  I stressed my pen, which was actually quite good.  everyday guys would be pitching at 85%.  I think with roided offence, the SIM is all aboot innings.  rather than finding stud SP, the decent innings eaters are my key to winning.  no real team has 3-4 studs, unrealistic to think a SIM team will do it.
