I don't remember having so many position players go in the top half of the round to be honest.  

That said, I'm following the same general strategy as last year, so we shall see.

Last year it was nuts like this around the turn too. I had a list of like 7 SP that all got run off right in a row before me. So I said #### pitching, took Mookie Betts in round 2 and won 103 games. That may be the plan again this year if this keeps up.

FWIW I held off a bit on SPs in my first two seasons and put together two playoff-caliber teams.  But I'm also a dirty cheating POS.

It's not hard to see this pick going really wrong, but the upside of a 40-HR shortstop with good defense is too much to pass up.

Yeah, my list got hammered, too. The worst thing about picking on the ends is waiting 46 picks. I am now down to a 3 man list with 8 picks to go. Not real confident that any of them will make it back to me.

it is nice picking two guys at a time though, you can pick complementary players. The worst thing in the world is picking around say the third spot and having two guys you want and trying to decide which one has the better chance of making it around the turn.
