Two owners have less than 50 players. Cosjobs has 48 ... his 50 draftees minus David Ortiz (retired) and Takayuki Kishi (pitching in the Japanese league). And SoCal only drafted 47 players, so far as I can tell.

Once you've confirmed that your roster is straight in Fantrax, set your Actives, Reserves, and IR players (use dropdown boxes to the right of player names). By default, after the players are imported, all players are Reserves.

Heh ... I drafted Yangervis Solarte as my starting 3B and Ryan Schimpf as my starting 2B, where they mostly played last year. Both did have eligibility at other IF positions in 2016.

Well, now Solarte is going into the season as the Padres' starting 2B, and Schimpf has been named the starting 3B. Guess it'll work.

First off, thank you for taking the time to enter all of these, well done.  But now that you mentioned it I have the wrong Josh Fields on my team.  I have the journeyman minor league third-baseman and should have the journeyman minor league relief pitcher (Dodgers).  I doubt either of them gets much major league time so not a big issue.

Hmmm ... can't see a way to make the fix in FanTrax. Do we have waivers and FA pickups locked down?

Side note: has Opening Day always been this staggered? Some teams started off on Sunday the 2nd ... and some other teams aren't starting until Wednesday the 5th.

Didn't all MLB used to start on the same day, and wasn't it usually the first Monday in April? I guess that was an old tradition that went goodbye.

OK, one more thing.

For any owners that hadn't yet adjusted their rosters: all of your players that are ( a ) not in the minors or ( b ) not on the disabled list but ( c ) are on 25-man MLB rosters right now ... all of those players are now designated as Active and are scoring FanTrax league points for your team.

Free agents, suspended players, and those otherwise inactive are shown as Reserves.

EDIT:

This is just the initial starting conditions for your teams. Your teams will not "auto-manage" themselves. You still have to check FanTrax to see when your minor leaguers get called up and can be added to your Active roster. Or when guys come off of the DL. Things like that.
