BTTF 2017 : Scoobus wins World Series (3 Viewers)

FWIW, this is impossible to follow.  I know there is PLENTY OF TALENT AVAILABLE, but 3ITC with this level of  :coffee: needed isn't "fun"

It's March 7, not sure I see the reasoning behind the speed-up.  Would be more fun to stay on the normal schedule on the back end here, let people research a couple deep sleepers.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

  1. We will wrap up 48th round today, using 2itc with a clock.
  2. 49th Round will be a free-for-all beginning at 4:00pm ET today
  3. 50th Round will be a free-for-all beginning at 11:00am ET tomorrow.
  4. All missed picks will be due no later than 11:00am ET on Thursday.

Meetings all day, but I get to go home at a decent hour. Will make my picks with a shot of TX Whiskey in between each one tonight.

I think the injury factor is the issue now that regular games are happening. An injury could lead to a steal of a pick, even this late in the draft. That's why the people with all the skips could in some cases have an advantage. Drag your feet and maybe you luck into an injury situation falling in your lap.

48.08: SP Johnson, Brian BOS

Saw an article that pointed out how the Red Sox have used an average of over ten starters per season over the last five seasons. They're already a man down. A few other kids in Johnson's way, but he could get an opening with a few breaks. Rough start to Spring Training two weekends ago, but still worth a 48th rounder.

48.10 Scott Alexander, RP Royals

Didn't even realize he was a lefty. He has options, and the Royals have a lot of lefties, but I am hoping he gets 25 innings at some point. Roster Resource has him on the opening day roster.

Good pick. Brian Flynn's injury opened up an opportunity for him. On my very short list of reasonably usable guys remaining.
