I'm done, like TU just leaving without saying goodbye at the bar. I've had it, enough. What I'm hearing is we are crazy NOT to go 15 more rounds.
Hobie "Cat" Shipley is still availableThe last two guys on my list were Hoby Milner and Braden Shipley are I really didn't want to draft them, so thankfully they're gone.
The extra five rounds haven't really added much to the draft except give people five more lottery scratchers. I think we could have gone to one pick a day earlier on but the fact that a lot of the guys I shortlisted the night before didn't make it around to me is an argument in favor of the draft order.Doctor Detroit said:I'm done, like TU just leaving without saying goodbye at the bar. TU didn't JUST leave without saying goodbye. It was modus operandi #1.Doctor Detroit said:I'm done, like TU just leaving without saying goodbye at the bar. I've had it, enough.
He didn't leave me in NYC the two times I visited him, he waited. Otherwise you'd see him in a serious discussion with a patron one minute, and he's be sleeping on your floor the next.TU didn't JUST leave without saying goodbye. I learned so much from that man.
Looks like 2, GB. Then a third at 11 Eastern to wrap things up.Anyone know how many I owe?
i wasn't suggesting a snake draft, but a "pick any time between now and 5/1" method.Eephus said:The supplemental pool is never deep enough to support a 24 person snake draft
Hmm. So you're proposing the final picks as FCFS in the first month of the season? I suppose that could work but probably would be best if it was a single pick so there was an element of strategy about when to make your selection.i wasn't suggesting a snake draft, but a "pick any time between now and 5/1" method.
using that approach, i'd guess there'd easily be enough guys to speculate on. Especially if the draft only went 45 rounds.
you broke my spreadsheet. don't think anyone has ever drafted 33 batters before.49.05 - Jose Rondon - SS - SDP
So bad for me last year. James Shields was making fun of how crappy Nick M was pitching.48.09 Nick Martinez
yes, though too late for this year's draft. there wasn't enough consensus so far.Hmm. So you're proposing the final picks as FCFS in the first month of the season? Oh he's the absolute worst, even worse watching in person. But at least I didn't have to research. So bad for me last year. James Shields was making fun of how crappy Nick M was pitching.
Isn't that the worst kind of research?Oh he's the absolute worst, even worse watching in person. But at least I didn't have to research.
That contract will almost assuredly make it to where he won't get any MLB time this year.$75 million contract; 49th round
