California is wonderful. If you like a laid back beach vibe there's SD. SF is a charming, beautiful city with some of the friendliest people you'll ever encounter in a big city. LA is a fantastic place if you're a big city person. I live in SoCal and it's a dream. 5 months of the year I can go snowboarding. At any point during the year I can head to one of the many beaches and enjoy gorgeous women in bikinis and work on a tan. Plenty of national forests for the hikers/campers. Every type of ethnic food (and good quality). Great weather almost year round. Always something to do if you're looking for an adventure. For the LA crowd it's easy to go to Vegas at a moment's notice and have a great weekend.
