Granted, Cedrick Benson's year so far has been a disappointment. But look at the current situation.
1. Chicago's passing offense has improved each week with Griese in there. That will help open the run.
2. Last week against Minnesota's #1 run defense, Benson ran well (until Lovie abandoned the run).
3. Philadelphia and Detroit are coming up on the schedule
--- Philly gave up 130 yards to Thomas Jones last week (the Jets offense is ugly)
--- Detroit's D is friendly to RBs
I don't see phenomenal numbers, but I wouldn't be surprised to see 200 yards and 2-3 TDs over the next 2 weeks. OK, maybe I am crazy.
