Calling All Sharks - What will Gordon's Stats be? (1 Viewer)

PTP, if you really believe Fanatic = RKADE, PM me, and I'll let Shick! tell you whassup wit dat.But take it from me, they aren't the same person.
I know he's not. Rkade was one of a kind. You know, I kind of miss his egocentric rhetoric. I feel empty inside.

Believe it or not, I just dropped Jimmy Smith for Gordon in a 10 team league. We only start 2 WR's and Jimmy Smith was either my 4th or 5th ranked WR on my team (RMoss, SSmith, AToomer, ABoldin). Chances are, Jimmy Smith wouldn't even see my line-up. And the way backs get injured and what not, you can never have too many.Assuming he gets the start in week 2 and keeps it for all 15 games, I can see 1050 rushing yards with 7 TD's.
Shoulda dropped Boldin.
Agree, I like JSmith as WR#3 on this team. I'd start him over Toomer quite a bit as well. Only 1 of my 6 leagues has first-come-first serve after Week 1, I'll make a play for Lamar Gordon when the wire opens and drop my last round pick of Damien Anderson (hey the draft was 4 weeks ago).

I was just offered Michael Bennett for Gordon in a Yahoo league. What's up with that?
Why didn't you just say, "I was offered Bennett for Gordon and jumped on that deal in a half a second?"That's what I would've done. Bennett could be a starter for siginificant time. Gordon is a nice fill in and trade bait.
I'm not sure why I didn't say that. More to the point I was trying to make, I should have said:"Gordon is certainly in a position to make the most of his situation, and will have the opportunity to be a bona-fide starter with 20 carries a game. As such, he is a nice bane for teams hit by injury at RB, or whose draft strategy caused them to eschew RBs until the later round. That said, the appearance of a starting RB on the waiver wire has caused a frenzy of activity and excitement for Gordon which I don't believe is justified. While solid as a backup, he is still relatively unproven, the Miami O line still has question marks, and the entire offence may take some time to gel, and rotating starting runners in the first few weeks is not a recipe for getting in the groove. While I think Gordon has the POTENTIAL to go 1,000+ 8 TDs, it is more likely that he'll be a 750/5 TD player that will not live up to the current hype that surrounds him."Better?FWIW I did jump all over that trade.

BUMPED FOR GOOD MEASURE!!!

Guess Gordon is looking pretty tasty right now, huh Primetime with your stable of:

S.Davis

McAllister

M. Williams

Hollings

A-Train

You had some nerve to critcize me for taking all the RB's in the draft and then taking Gordon off of waivers. What a tool!!!

The best part is, he wouldn't pull a trade with me on Friday. I offered Delhomme and Foster for Brady.

Guess what? Ya snooze, ya lose!!! Good luck salvaging an already 0-2 team.

One more thing....HE HAD STEVE SMITH TOO!!!!!

BWHAHAHAHAAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!!!!
