this would piss me off as i cant pick people up anymore...CBS SPortsline reports that the lions Calvin Johnson is questionable and that he has nothing to play for so the Lions may play it safe with his injury. This would make one of my decision easier if this happens.

This statement is why the Lions are losers. if it's true. All ready calling the game meaningless and not likely to win? Patheticbshell27 said:Calvin Johnson, WR DET
News: Lions WR Calvin Johnson went through limited practice reps all week, including Friday, and is listed as questionable for the Week 15 game at Indianapolis.
Analysis: Johnson is still expected to play, but it won't hurt Fantasy owners to come up with a contingency plan in case he's made inactive. After all, from the Lions' perspective, they may not want to risk their star receiver getting hurt in a game that's pretty much meaningless and not a likely win. We'll be the first to know whether or not he'll be active this Sunday on Fantasy Football Today, 11 a.m. ET here on CBSSports.com.
Whoever wrote that analysis doesn't understand the game. Just because the writer has lost interest doesn't mean the players or the teams have. What does he think the Lions are saving him for? Next season? Unless Johnson has some horrible injury that won't be on anybody's mind. Players want to play. Teams want to play. They only get 16 games a year and every game is an event. If Johnson doesn't play it won't be because the team doesn't care about the game. Absurd. This statement is why the Lions are losers. if it's true. I think this is the week. I've started Calvin all year and defended him against the doutbers every week, but the turmoil at QB coupled with the matchup against the Colts leads me to believe Calvin will have a poor game by his standards. He's probably my favorite player right now so I hope he makes me regret it, but I can't risk the 2 for 24 type of game he could potentially put up.I have the luxury of starting Reggie Wayne and Roddy White in his place though.Hmm, I may just have to hedge here. I've got Cotchery on the pine in one league and Eddie Royal on the pine in another for Calvin, but a donut would be devastating.
Calvin is fast becoming one of my favorite players to watch in the NFL, and as much as he defies expectations and logic by coming up with a 50 yard TD week after week, you have to think that the bubble will burst one week. Damn.
Well, sheeee-it! If I had Wayne and White, I probably would do the same. Like you say, nice luxury. But for those of us with guys like Antonio Bryant and Dominek Hixon, it gets a little fuzzier. I think I am still rolling with Calvin.I have the luxury of starting Reggie Wayne and Roddy White in his place though.

Vincent Jackson/Dwayne Bowe playing wth 30 mph gusts is also up thereGood thread, and I agree, if you have no brainers, Carindals WRs, Wayne, White, AJ, you start them and bench Calvin. But what if you have those middle round guys, Santana Moss, Breaston, Lee Evans? Do you bench Calvin for one of those 3? That is where I'm at...and struggling. Love me some megatron, but worried about this week. Any thoughts on CJ2 vs Santana, Evans, or Breaston?
Cotchery or Berrian for me, will decide tomorrow.I really think I will sit Calvin this week because of his injury to a certain extent but mainly because of the opponent and his QB situation. I've played him every week up until now. I think I will go with Cotchery and Housh instead.
NOBODY as competitive as NFL players are wants to be known as the first 0-16 team. You see how much Orlovsky is fighting to play. CJ plays and I am going with him. He just is a freak. Even if you or I were throwing him the ball he gets 80 and a td. It might be on one catch. But I'm not gonna lose faith now. That Mark Clayton is who I'd play has NOTHING tp do with this.Calvin Johnson (hand) is listed as questionable for Week 15. He was limited in Friday's practice. There has been no talk of Johnson sitting out against the Colts, but check back Sunday morning to be safe. It will be a shock if Calvin is inactive. Coach Rod Marinelli is desperately in need of a win and he'll need all hands on deck. The Colts and Lions start at 1:00PM ET.Source: NFL.com
Berrien is like CJ with 60 percent pf athe talent. Is berrien faster than CJ?Cotchery or Berrian for me, will decide tomorrow.I really think I will sit Calvin this week because of his injury to a certain extent but mainly because of the opponent and his QB situation. If Calvin plays (assuming he will) - he had good games w/ Orlovsky @ QB. 4 games w/ a TD in each. And the best (PPR) one was last one @ CHI.Averaging about 90 and a score w/ DO.NOBODY as competitive as NFL players are wants to be known as the first 0-16 team.
