Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press expects Calvin Johnson (questionable, knee) to play Sunday against the Giants.
Birkett doesn't seem certain, however, writing that he'll "be watching (Megatron's) pre-game workout just in case." It's pretty clear Johnson is a full-blown game-time decision. Even if Johnson dresses and is declared active, the possibility remains that he won't be at 100 percent. Sunday's game is a must-win for the Lions, who are squarely on the playoff bubble.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Sunday Countdown that there "seems to be some concern" about Calvin Johnson's (questionable, knee) Week 16 availability, and he's "not a sure thing to play" against the Giants.
Schefter hinted Megatron's availability wouldn't be determined until a pre-game workout, making him a true game-time call. Today's Giants-Lions game doesn't start until 4:05 PM ET. It puts fantasy owners in a major bind. We simply have no idea whether Megatron will play. He didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday, but did participate Friday.
Tim Twentyman of Lions.com expects Calvin Johnson (knee, questionable) to play Sunday against the Giants.
ESPN's Adam Schefter caused a stir early Sunday when he reported there was "concern" in Detroit about Megatron's availability, but with two beat writers (also Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press) now anticipating Johnson playing, he's best left in fantasy lineups for today's 4:05 PM ET tilt with the G-Men. Twentyman has watched Megatron before the game, and believes "You can tell a lot about his availability by body language in his pre-game routine." Perhaps Megatron won't be 100 percent, but indications are he will be active on Sunday.

Similar here. Starting Andre, Decker, and Colston. Calvin if he is a go or DJax if he isn't.I have P.Garcon in the line up at WR and currently have D.Jackson starting at the Flex, but Jackson will go to the bench if Calvin is going to play.
He's obviously hurt, Man. Not like he's asking for a vacation day.I cant imagine him sitting in a must win game for DET, and probably Schwartz.
Phew. So far so good.@davebirkett: Calvin Johnson is running routes with the rest of the WRs in pre-game drills, as he usually does.
One of the very few guys that's got that "stud" status with me where I'll start him under any circumstance.Yup.If he plays he's in my lineup....simple.
Awesome. Let's hope he doesn't suffer any setbacks in warm-ups!Calvin ACTIVE!
4.3 fantasy points from Calvin Johnson is pretty terrible for a half. That's a Nate Burleson half.43 isn't terrible. Double that and a td in 2nd half and it's all good.
thats niceHe still had 8 targets and dropped a TD that was thrown just out of his reach after beating his man off the line.START YOUR STUDS. Lmao.
Glad I don't enroll in that BS.
Yes, Calvin Johnson is the pos in this equation. Thanks you POS
lol, well played.Yes, Calvin Johnson is the pos in this equation. Thanks you POS
I'm sure they'll make up by next seasonlol, well played.Yes, Calvin Johnson is the pos in this equation. Thanks you POS
He must have lost a limb before the gameDidn't see the game, was he noticeably hurt?
Oof43 isn't terrible. Double that and a td in 2nd half and it's all good.
How about if you drafted Charles instead of Calvin? Or McCoy?Yes...it was a dud today.
Who here would have been in any finals without having him during the year.
So many crapped the bed for me at times this year and several today.
But man...without Calvin no way I would have made the finals in both leagues I had him.
I would have...had they not gone several picks before Calvin. How about if you drafted Charles instead of Calvin? Or McCoy?Yes...it was a dud today.
