:archive:My worst call ever...celebrate it, throw a party.
If your other posts didn't make it obvious enough , you're definitely a newb to these parts. That's the whole reason this thread was bumped.you guys do realize this thread is from 2011 right?
Time to clock out, LHUCKS.He had one of the best rookie passing seasons in the history of the game with a constantly injured receiving corps. Now you add pass happy McDaniels to the mix...I have his high side at 5200 passing yards.
I don't understand what there isn't to like. Compare his rookie numbers to Peyton Mannings, then you'll see what there is to like.
If Bradford played in New York his ADP would be two rounds earlier.
Actually it's been pretty well documented in the FFA, Mock Draft forum, and here that you could. I don't know how he manages to defy the coin flip theory but he has over the last couple of years.I don't think anyone could actually make a living betting against LHUCKS. People remember his bad calls because he's so insufferable, but I bet if you went back and totaled up every call he ever made, you'd find he doesn't significantly underperform random chance. In the end, he's basically just the fantasy equivalent of a coin flip. A loud, obnoxious, self-aggrandizing, megalomaniacal coin flip with poor interpersonal skills, but a coin flip nonetheless.
right we pulled it from the "archive"you guys do realize this thread is from 2011 right?
You have a link handy? Again, threads like this stick out, but he makes a *lot* of calls, so he's bound to get a few real turds. Earlier this offseason I was going through his over/undervalued threads from last year and looking at the names he put in green and red, and it really struck me just how amazingly close to coin flip territory his predictions were. Maybe last year was an aberration. Either way, I'd be interested in seeing some sort of analysis on the subject, or even just an unbiased aggregation of every shot he's ever called.'BassNBrew said:Actually it's been pretty well documented in the FFA, Mock Draft forum, and here that you could. Someone voted for McCoy today.Funny!!! well?Colt McCoy(117 votes [54.42%] - View) Cam Newton(98 votes [45.58%] - View)![]()
He's usually 50/50 in the under/over valued threads. It's the threads where he makes a statement and then belittles/badgers those with counter opinions where he has the knack for being very wrong. I'll start you off with Memphis basketball but if you want to research it further, pretty much any college thread he started in the ffa. From there you can review any thread he started about a ff league he's an owner in. Last year he was first out in ultimate survivor and the message board survivor league. Regarding specific players, then only threads I remember from last year are Rice, Leinart, Moss, McCoy. He chose to bump the Rice thread last night which prompted all these other threads being bumped. I would hazard to guess that if he made some other great calls last year he would have bump those threads.Lastly, he was one of the three all time worst survivor league owners based on average performance over the last 10 years but in the top three of the "kudo-ing your own team as the best after a draft" category. You have a link handy? ^My vote is for Cam. I think he has the skills to carve out a decent career in the NFL. If he can keep his off-field troubles in check and learn to tune down his pessimistic attitude in the huddle, I think the other players will rally around him and follow his lead. Time will tell, I guess. But I don't see McCoy leading the Browns to the superbowl this season.
