he played about thirty seconds of good football today. Did anyone really expect him to be focused there?

Wow just watched the ODB seek and destroy mission on Norman. I haven't seen anything else between the two that went on, but that alone is a suspendable act. He flat out hunted Norman with his head from at least 15 yards. Unreal and disgusting.

So Beckham throws 2 punches in the game and 3 personal foul penalties - including launching himself helmet first into a defenseless player and he's still in the game at the end. Player safety anyone?

You're an idiot if you see nothing wrong or an ODB owner/Giants fan. Sorry, I own ODB in two leagues and he deserves to be suspended. He should never have been in there in the second half. A player on your team gets 3 personal fouls in the first half and he's not benched at all?

I think Norman is a huge piece of crap here too. Suspend them both. Wallace from Pitt too. If the NFL truly cares about safety, they will stop this crap.

There should be a rule mandating ejection after a second PF, let alone a third. Fine is certain, but a suspension is not out of the realm here.

Exactly. Norman is a hot head and they were obviously going at it, but Beckham was way, way worse and Norman never once did something intentionally trying to injure Beckham.

I get that and the post-game crew basically said the same thing. An average receiver is gone in the first half; ODB sells tickets. But like I said, player safety?? Only when it benefits the league.
I guess we'll find out this week how serious the league is about safety.

As a Giants fan I was embarrassed by Beckhams behavior. I think his rookie stardom went to his head, which was a big fear I had coming into the season.

If Tom Brady got hit like this after an interception there would be an automatic ejection and a rule change. I am a huge Jets Fan and can't stand Tom Brady. (I Know he is great but I hated Gretzky for the same reasons. They both yapped constantly to the Refs) However, If Brandon Marshall did this to Brady I would be calling for the Jets to trade the player. Brady is no longer my most hated player. I have lost a great deal of respect for the NY Football Giants for ignoring this behavior. The Giants have always been regarded as one of the classiest teams in the NFL. If Wellington Mara was still alive I do not think OBJ would be permitted to return for the second half. This has been such a strange year for NYC Football. It is like the Jets and Giants have somehow switched roles in every way after Geno was hit in the mouth.

I thought Norman and Beckham both embarrassed themselves and the League today. Punk assed #####es both, which is a shame given their talent level. Both should be suspended next week. Others mileage may vary.
both should fined. Only Beckham should be suspended. He sprinted 15 yards just to launch himself helmet-first into Norman's head. The slapping at each other's helmets after every play wasn't dangerous.

You should write the league and tell them how tough you are and how all this concussion stuff is nonsense. And go soak that nasty hang nail. Work needs you tomorrow.
