For once the Rams have all of their draft picks signed before camp. Which is nice. Now they need to get Bulger's deal done. From what I understand, Bulger is going to practice today so I hope that means they are close.

A source close to the negotiations said Bulger is expected to sign a contract extension today. He has one year remaining on a four-year, $19.1 million contract, and is expected to sign a six-year extension that on average will pay him just more than $10 million per season.

The guaranteed money in the contract extension amounts to $20 million.
:boxing: ETA

Contract signed. Press conference at 11:30 cst.

That has to be a first for the Rams. I can't remember a year when they had their 1st rounder inked before the start of camp. As a Rams homer I'm excited about this season. I don't expect a SB this year, but I do expect some exciting football, maybe even a playoff berth....

I'm with ya GB. I haven't been this optimistic about the Rams since the 2003 season. Of course that didn't turn out all that well. If the Rams can even marginally improve their D, look out.

Exactly. IF they play more ball control offense of stuffing SJax down the D's throat and then make high percentage passes to Holt/Bruce/Bennett/McMichael this team just needs the D to hold teams under 24 and we can win some games

I'm with you guys on this one. If we can just be descent on the defensive side this offense is going to be one of the best in the NFL this year. I'm very pumped up to see what we can do.

Oh yeah Bulger just signed to:
