Hi ID,

I know we have our dfferences at times but I do appreciate the speed at which you are bringing info to all of us. One thought...why not make a master "ID Thread" with all the player movement? You seem to love sharing the breaking news with everyone here. You could change the subline for each new post. If not, maybe FBG should utilize you in their news dept since I haven't gotten a breaking news email from them in quite some time.

Lots of players--Ruud, Tulloch, Plax, MSW--getting one-year deals. For guys with any questions around them or a dried-up market for their position, 1 year deals are happening. I'm especially not surprised here, since the Bengals are in full rebuild mode and Benson's getting up there and has all sorts of concerns. He's going to carry the load this year, but man, will it be tough sledding with those young receivers and QB situation.

Here Here agree with all that. Why lock up big money or years in a 28 year old RB who has more wear and tear than some want to really recognize? Benson doesn't have an extra gear and is mostly a 2-4 yd per carry guy...that is not exciting for us in the FF world but positive yards seem to be important to these NFL coaches.

what do people think he will get for suspension because of his uncool actions recently is ther a chance he could be disciplined for a chunk of the season and then what

Bradshaw has lined up a visit to Cinci and that should signal some red flags to ownes. Looks like Cinci wants to not have to hand it off 300+ times to Benson but rather create a 2 back system to go behnd Gradkowski.

It's hard to trust the whole situation with regard to Bradshaw. Personally, he'd seem to be more of a threat to Bernard Scott's carries - assuming Benson isn't suspended.Perhaps Bradshaw and the Bengals were using each other. The Bengals to get Ced to sign on the dotted line for a modest deal, knowing that his other options really are few. Bradshaw, in turn, trying to make a market for himself or up an offer to come back to the Giants. In short, I'm hard pressed to believe both would be on the team at the same time.-QG

John Clayton said Bradshaw's trip to Cinci has been cancelled.

While Bradshwa's visit has been canceled, even if it wasn't, splitting carries is not the way of Lewis. Llike it or not, Benson is likely in line for 350 touches, as long as he doen't get injured.
