Cedric Peerman re-signed (1 Viewer)

Never know I have seen many players cut then end up doing well. Blount just last year.

Is this right?

I just saw that he was resigned, as per FBG newswire

CINCINNATI -- The Bengals will have at least one Palmer on the quarterback depth chart.

Backup quarterback Jordan Palmer, a restricted free agent, agreed to a contract extension Friday with the team.

His older brother, Carson Palmer, was placed on the reserve/did not report list after threatening to retire if he was not traded.

The Bengals drafted Andy Dalton in the second round and signed journeyman quarterback Bruce Gradkowski to compete for the starting job.

The team also announced new deals with three other restricted free agents, center Kyle Cook, guard Nate Livings, and tackle Dennis Roland.

They also agreed to terms with five exclusive-rights free agents, receiver Quan Cosby, long snapper/tight end Clark Harris, safety Tom Nelson, running back Cedric Peerman, and linebacker Dan Skuta.

The Bengals cut receiver Shay Hodge and kicker Clint Stitser.

the other guys are Cosby, Harris, Nelson, Peerman and Skuta

Is Brown still driving the price of his backups down?

You know this guy has read the entire new CBA and none of us has been able to get a copy.

We can learn something from this bast##d.

Well Cinci fans cant, they already got the lesson.

Blount wasn't cut, he was going to sign with TN or SF, one or the other, then went to tampa instead didn't he?
Pretty sure Titans waived him, then TB picked him up.
Titans tried to sneak him onto their practice squad. Any team can grab guys off your practice squad if they're going to an active roster...I think.
yup...that's what happened. The Titans still wanted him.
Definitely not an equal comparison to Peerman; he's been cut by 4 teams now.

Thread is confusing local Cincinnati outlets report Peerman signed last night, not he was cut. May need to check sources or change thread title.

From one of the Cincy online newspapers:

"SLEW OF SIGNINGS: All four of the Bengals' restricted free agents (center Kyle Cook, offensive guard Nate Livings, quarterback Jordan Palmer and offensive tackle Dennis Roland), along with the five exclusive-rights guys (wide receiver Quan Cosby, long snapper Clark Harris, safety Tom Nelson, halfback Cedric Peerman and linebacker Dan Skuta) signed their contracts Friday night, which was when they were permitted."

Norris, ya need to fix the title, Bengal Brother.

There were 2 cuts: Hodge and Stitser.

The rest, including Peerman, were all signings.
