I feel sorry for this woman. I'd like to think that something happened to her in order for her to feel such hatred. Based on her somewhat poetic writing style, she is not unintelligent. What's truly scary is the thought that nothing happened to her, that she has these thoughts because some people are just evil- they don't become that way, they just are that way. That might be true, but I hope it isn't.

This is why the comment a white FBG posted in the thread yesterday regarding crime statistics that they'd feel just as unsafe living in a poor white community as a poor black community was incredibly naive. Even if you disregard the vast difference in the quantity and the nature of crime, you're still left with x% of the black underclass who think like the authors of those comments, would hate you solely for who you are, and who would love to take the opportunity to make your life miserable. It's not a huge percentage, but enough to make life worse for you than if you were just another anonymous white guy living in a poor white community. Hell, Howard Stern talks about how he'd regularly get the beat down because he was the white guy in a black community.

Don't know who this guy Fred Reed is, but his comments are questionably racist as well.
