They're extremely deep right now. Coghlan can play the outfield or second too. Baez looks less lost at the plate vs. his cup of coffee last year.

Yeah, Pirates are only 2 games over .500 on the road, and they were under until recently. I bet Maddon already knows his complete lineup and game strategy for each possibility.

Pirates and Cubs still have 6 head-to-head games so that should take care of it. There is still a chance that either the Cubs or the Bucs still win the division. The 3 teams have similar schedules but the Cards have a lot of road games left.
