What a joke.

Edwards leaning towards starting Huard Week 4

Published Tue Sep 23 4:12:40 p.m. ET 2008

(KFFL) The Associated Press reports Kansas City Chiefs head coach Herman Edwards said he is leaning towards starting QB Damon Huard Week 4.

Perhaps we could get Al, Millen, Herm and Linehan together and put them in an office together. Everybody will TELL them it's a real NFL team, but it's really just a bunch ex-cons in helmets.

The beauty of it is, they'll never know the difference.

This website is starting to gain steam in KC www.getbradynow.com

Although we are not getting Brady Quinn at least people around here are finally getting fed up with the fact Deliverance boy Brody Croyle who could not even beat up on Auburn is not our solution to a QB. Herm Edwards needs some accountablity in our search for a QB along with Peterson. KC simply put has to address the QB situation or risk tainiting the mindset of a all rookie team. We have the longest losing streak in the NFL at 12 games and it will not be getting better anytime soon.

Missouri is a show me state and between the Rams and Chiefs football fans are getting a little ancy for a winner.

Sorry had to vent.

I wouldn't sweat it. Come April, Herm will be fired and you'll be drafting local boy Chase Daniel. Hope springs eternal!

Kind of like The Truman Show. I like it!

Meanwhile, I just realized KC is at home vs. Denver this week. Huard is the sneaky WW play of the week. I plan on picking him up and starting him over Schaub during Eli's bye. :headbang:

I advise anyone with bye week issues to do the same.

Huard will indeed start...

Huard will start for Chiefs on Sunday

The Associated Press

For the third week in a row, winless Kansas City is making a change in its starting quarterback.

Coach Herm Edwards said Wednesday that Damon Huard, the 12-year veteran backup, will get the nod against the unbeaten Denver Broncos. Tyler Thigpen, the former seventh-round pick from tiny Coastal Carolina who got his first NFL start last week, is headed back to the bench but may see action again before regular starter Brodie Croyle returns from a shoulder injury. That's expected to be Oct. 19 against Tennessee.

Huard started against Oakland in Kansas City's second game before being pulled early for Thigpen. Thigpen made his first NFL start last week at Atlanta and was intercepted three times in a 38-14 loss that stretched Kansas City's overall losing streak to 12 games.

Huard may suck, but Denver's passing D sucks worse, dead last in the league. They're giving up 315 yds passing per game avg, opposing QBs have a 72.0% comp pct and a 114.9 QB rating against them and have only sacked the QB a total of 5 times.Denver has given up 13 pass plays over 20 yds; 4 over 40 and 6 passing TDs.KC is ranked 4th against the pass, but that's only because you can run all over them :scared: ok, ok, Denver has gone up against Rivers and Brees, but hey, 25/35/250/2/2 sounds about right. not bad for a WW bye week fill-in
