JB doesn't want league commissioner questions in here, he wants them in the AC Forum. That's crazy, you have to wade through so many WDIS and Rate this trade etc. posts the commissioner questions fall faster than the Chicago Bears.

Can we get a Commissioner's Corner Forum? What can it hurt? At least all commissioners who have league questions can go there and post, and owners can go and look and offer their opinions without having to wade through a thousand WDIS posts?

Can we try it?

This is a great idea.

It would also possibly help in League setups, rules discussions, a whole lot of things.

I like the idea as well. Sometimes I feel out of place asking questions about trade deadlines, rules, "what should I do about this....".

I think this would be a great forum.

 
Get the rate this trade post out of there as well

It is nearlyimpossible to give an educated opinion on a trade where so many of the variables are unknown

so its a Commissioners /EvalTrade forem

AC sould be for wdis and rate player x to player y

 
good idea

also a place for studying different rulesets and constitutions that other leagues use

 
Why do you need an entire forum? As many questions as you may think you'd have I think it would be more dull than you think and many non commissioners who have much experience in playing fantasy football will not see it in another forum.

I'd suggest asking for a pinned "Commissioner's Corner" right here in the Shark Pool. That way, all those that visit the Pool can stop in there if they so wish, you guys get a specific place to post without it dropping off the page continually and the Mods don't have to police another forum.

 
I agree and actually made a similar suggestion some time last year inside another thread but it fell on deaf ears. I think there is plenty of call for a designated space for commish-related questions/topics ... league rules and their implementation, dealing with owners, commish controls in the various league hosting sites, venting/commiserating etc. I don't think fracturing the SP or the AC should be a concern.

 
As a former and current commish, I can appreciate this need.

I'll try and make sure that Joe / David see this.

IIRC this was discussed before, but I'll ask them their thoughts.

Adding a forum for this is something I've been kicking around for a little while. We won't do it now but it'll be something we look at in the offseason. Most people know how much I hate breaking out new branches for new forums but this is something we'll look at. I do think it could be a good area and have thought so for a while. I'd probably also look at a way to combine the Assistant Coach forum with this. That forum needs more people and help.I do know for absolute certain I don't want those types of posts in the Shark Pool. That much I know for sure.J
