Enjoying my day off today, I came across the finalists for the Fantasy Sports Writers Association and I found none other than FBG's own Jeff Pasquino, nominated for 2 awards. Jeff is a finalist for Football Writer of the Year and Best Football Article on the Web.

Here is the complete list of award finalists, to be announced in Tampa during the Super Bowl.

Congrats to Jeff!

Jeff and I have had our disagreements in the past, but I have to give him props for well deserved recognition.

Jeff,

I appreciate that you are always willing to share an opinion and a lot of time for the folks in the AC Forums and also willing to get down and dirty in the pool.

Congrats on the article and recognition!

Absolutely awesome Jeff! Up for not one, but two awards speaks volumes to your talent and consistency with your writing.

You should be very proud - hats off my friend.

:lmao: to everyone for all the well wishes.

"It's an honor just to be nominated" is a phrase that comes to mind, but there's some impressive people / sites on those lists.

congrats!!! I too appreciate all the endless help and answering of questions. You deserve it. Somebody has to carry all the slackers at fbg!!!

congrats Jeff!!now if you could just lose that Trump icon.... :coffee:

LOL

I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff at the new Maryland FBG league auction this past summer (a league he pretty much dominated, BTW) and his article on PPR and point per first down reception (PPFDR) turned out to be a defining moment for my local league. Congrats to him for his good work.

Jeez, Jeff. I didn't know you actually knew what you were talking about - I always thought you were a typical Iggles fan :lmao:

Congrats, GB

I thought it was for his Eagles Win the Super Bowl prediction thread. :D
No, you're thinking the "Fictional" category.ETA: Good for you, Jeff. Though we all know you do this because you love it, the recognition of your peers has to be very gratifying. :(

 likewise---we can't beat him, we can only hope to contain him!

 Same goes for me. I am also in Roadkill's local league where we used Jeff's article to get PPFDR passed and it couldn't have went any better. Jeff as also helped me out with AC questions and dynasty questions, and as a fellow Eagles fan, I know he knows what he's talking about! Congrats Jeff!
