yes - though I don't recall any discussion of going the bootleg live performance route - but definitely "live" albums are allowed. It's a slight cheat code if you wanted to use it as a "kind of top hits" collection since those are NOT allowed (so long Squeeze "Singles" )

I asked and things like Instant Live, albums recorded by archivists, etc. are all allowed so I assume bootleg recordings would be as well. However, despite having 35 live albums on my list, I limited it to official recordings which were widely released by the artists.

I know you’re probably half-joking, but they didn’t play in Poughkeepsie in 1972 - one could certainly make a case for Europe ‘72 here though.

I've trimmed it to about 10. All are commercially available (I stayed away from the bootleg type for the reason you mentioned).

Floyd or Beatles imo I think Floyd though. much more diverse musical progression. Beatles were basically a boy band that started to rock out

Terrible probably isn’t fair to Zeppelin they were a talented group of musicians and one of the best at ripping off Blues artists, but I could easily live my life without ever hearing Robert Plant sing again

Beatles are fine i don’t really have anything bad to say about them but still a Boy Band IMO.

Yea, maybe. Beatles definitely have more songs. But Zep's first 6 albums are all of the "classic" variety. 1-IV, Houses, Physical... I expect we'll see them all on this countdown. Presence and in/out... those are a solid maybe. I'm not sure we'll see six beatles or stones albums.

Beatles: Revolver, Pepper, White, Abbey, Let it Be... those I fully expect. Does Help, Rubber Soul, or MMT make it six or more? Maybe.

Stones: Beggers, Bleed, Sticky, Exile... Some Girls or Tattoo You maybe?

Floyd: Dark Side, Wish, Animals, The Wall... those make it. Meddle maybe?

It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out. Maybe I'm way off and "With the Beatles" (et al) ranks.
