Cool New ADP Feature (1 Viewer)

I have not posted this to the website yet, but here is a first look at our new ADP tool. By placing this data in a database, we will also be able to ask our staff (and subscribers) how they view these players against these consensus ADPs. We think this data should help flush out sleepers, etc through a process called groupthink.

Average Draft Position

We will then ask our staff and subscribers to fill out a "survey" that will look like this:

QB1 Peyton Manning (ADP = 12) and everyone will check a box that says whether you think a player is undervalued, appropriate, or overvalued based on these definitions:

UNDERvalued means you DO want that guy on your team at that price.

OVERvalued means you DO NOT want that guy on your team at that price.

This data will then all appear on the player pages:

Payton Manning

Consensus ADP = QB1 (12th Overall)

3 of 18 staff believe he is undervalued, 7 of 18 staff believe the ADP to be correct, and 8 of 18 staff believe he is overvalued

323 of 1484 subscribers believe he is undervalued, 650 of 1484 subscribers believe the ADP to be correct, and 511 of 1484 subscribers believe he is overvalued

David:Very cool feature...One request. Any way that you could add in the percentages along with the raw numbers? I know it's easy enough to figure out but it would be nice to see everything all together.

LOVE this idea - this kind of stuff is why I've been a subscriber from day 1. :lmao:

Yes I think percentages will look the best actually. I think the best format might be something like this:Peyton Manning (QB1, ADP = 12)

Staff: (18 polled) 15% undervalued, 65% correct, 20% overvalued

Subbscribers: (1,800 polled) 22% undervalued, 55% correct, 23% overvalued

So when can we get some ADP for PPR leagues, 2QB leagues, etc?Oh, and nice work with the new stuff!!!
:goodposting: You guys continue to put out fantastic content. The fact that you haven't broken your ADP data out by scoring and roster requirements is one of your few big misses (IMHO).

I don't even know if ADP for different league specs is available, I've never seen it.IMO the best way to use ADP is to get your league's draft history, look at the average of how many at each position go in each round, and insert the correct # of players by position [by ADP] into your own mock draft grid.
