If the story that he's from Canada is correct, he wouldn't have been safer. Also wasn't the travel bag temporary so they could review the immigration system? Haven't they finished reviewing? What recommendations do they have? There shouldn't even be a need for the ban anymore.

I've asked this a few times and haven't gotten a good answer.  People forget the original EO was for 90 days.  We're way past that.  Not sure why our "extreme vetting" isn't in place yet or why there's a need for the SC to rule on it.  Or maybe it was never really intended to be "temporary".

BTW - when is the SC supposed to rule on it?

Oh good - another thread where we get to pretend there isn't a direct link between Islam and violence. And where we get to trot out false equivalencies like "Christians kill people too". Sorry apologists, Islam IS different. It's not just "another religion" with a different set of dress, diet restrictions and prayer practices. It really is different - it's violent from beginning to end.
