...to break 11,000 yards rushing. Pretty impressive career and always an underrated RB outside of fantasy circles IMO. 86 career TDs and that many yards is pretty damn impressive. Congrats CD. :banned:

When he was setting records on all those bad Cinci teams, people used to say how he'd be a hall of fame running back if he had been drafted on a good team. I feel a little bad for the guy, because I think that's true. But I'm glad he was able to get some jewelry.

Still plenty of time for him to get into the HOF. Should finish the season 12th on the all-time rushing list, and has an outside shot of breaking the top-10 before he retires. He also has a good shot at finishing in the top-10 for career rushing TDs.He's a half-notch below Bettis and C-Mart -- if they get in, he won't be far behind.

:goodposting: I think he has a chance also. Throw in those individual game accomplishments and he is one of the best runners of his generation and in the same breath as Martin and Bettis. Man when he was young he could break some long runs. I think that Norwood kid looks a lot like a young Dillon.

He'll be on the Pats for this season and probably next, and the Patriots will probably win at least one more while he's with thim.

Plus he may not retire when the Pats kick him to the curb.

Yeah, congrats CD. He was so much fun to watch early in his career, despite playing for what was then a laughingstock franchise. Too bad he spent so much time in purgatory.Enjoy it while it lasts CD.

I'd vote him in, bad team or no bead team- he was a dominant durable back for many years...its just these later years have hurt his image....althought the 3 TDs today help.
