We'll just have to wait and see on how Dez turns out. I'm prepared to eat crow if he signs quickly and if he's a stud. I hope the people who were rude, snide towards my comments eat crow if he holds out or busts. I've said all I'm going to say on the subject.
First 1st round rookie to sign, here's your 1st opportunity to start on the plate full of crow you'll be having.http://twitter.com/Adam_Schefter/statuses/19289289059

Dez doesn't seem upset that he dropped, he actually is very excited as he is a Texas native and grew up loving the Cowboys. He also loves football and wants to get back on the field after missing last season. All of this adds up to me thinking he is signed and on the field Day 1 Training Camp.
Chomp, Chomp, Chomp.Looks like I was wrong. Nice to see Dez saying all the right things too.
You could still be right, just cause he signs doesn't guarantee him sucess.

I like to think I'd feel the same way, imagine most of us do. If I grew up in Texas as a fan, there's little doubt I'd take the short term drop in pay to play for the team I loved with a good QB, great stadium, interesting owner, and be part of that juggernaut. He could make up for the lesser pay in endorsements if he does well.
