He wasn't clear - I think it was first player to win NFL championship as player and coach for same team. Ditka won as player in pre-Super Bowl era. Flores won an AFL Championship as a player, but never a Super Bowl or NFL Championship

Just looked on Wikipedia - technically Flores backed up Len Dawson for the Super Bowl winning Chiefs. Certainly not a player like Ditka was for the Bears or Cowboys - but he has a ring I bet

Yeah, Gruden said Bryant could not separate, but a good throw and he is running away from Jennings and maybe the safety as well. Not sure how you aren't separated when Bryant had to stop and leap (instead of catching the ball in stride) and the CB still can't make a play on the ball.
