We’re really close. Don’t be so pessimistic.I'm probably about the most pessimistic Cowboys fan on this board.
I don't know when the last time I posted anything good about them actually. They have alot of work to do to get better
A coaching change would help immenesly. We’ve got the talent on offense with upgrades at receiver. Rico will be a big help. We have a ton of potential on D.
Can’t stress enough how a dynamic HC will help. It would make a huge difference with the talent we have to work with.
I have a feeling you’re going to be in a much better mood this time next year.

Holy crap. I think I read a couple dozen times how we were playing more starters than you guys. LOL.
If I was a Philly fan, I’d be much more concerned with getting shut out. It doesn’t look like you guys are going anywhere with Foles, but the NFL is a war of attrition. All I can say (similar to my Cowboys at several positions) is get a better backup.
It would take some balls, but Sudfeld might be your best shot at winning a game in the playoffs. Do you wait until you’re down to make the switch?

I can't say for sure of the last 20 but according to This and taking it account this seasons record the Eagles and the Cowboys records are:

I also cant wait for next season. Some of you have been beyond obnoxious this year. You couldnt make heads or tails of how well Dak played last year when everything went his way and your boy struggled down the stretch. This season everything went Wentzs way and he played great. Dak struggles and now all of a sudden you're QB savants.
I like Dak and I like his character. I think he'll be just fine.
You guys focus less on Dak and more your Eagles and how they handle the success of this season next year. You won't have the easy schedule and your QB is coming off of major knee surgery.
Somthing tells me you're gonna regret talking so much smack this year if you haven't already.

As an Eagles fan, I'd think it's not in your best interest to go back in the past decades and compare postseason with many teams.

You have to take into account the competition (Giants), though. Is Foles good enough to beat teams like the Vikes, Rams, & Saints? You guys would have all you wanted & more against those teams even with Wentz.
Sudfeld might not be any better than Foles, but he could provide a spark. Sudfeld certainly looked better in this game.

I agree that a coaching change would help the Cowboys. However, I don't think Jones is getting rid of his puppet, Garrett. Also, they need to get rid of the cancer that is Dez Bryant. He is killing that offense by whining about how much he gets used. Prescott will be much better off when he can spread the ball around to the open receiver without having to worry about Dez crying to him on the sideline. The Cowboys do have some pieces to build on on their defense. They just have to hope Lee stays healthy and keeps playing until the other players have developed. Most of us don’t do that. Seems to me it’s only the fans of the Eagles Giants and Redskins who bring up how long ago it was that the Cowboys did anything. In fact it’s pretty much only Eagles, Redskins and Giants fans who bring up the Cowboys at all, it’s all you guys ever talk about.

I think it's probably because the cowboys still get so much pressure and national airtime, so they feel like they are in everyone's consciousness all the time, whether that has anything to do with the fans or not.

I don't get the sentiment from some Cowboys fans that all us Eagles fans did was talk an immense amount of S H I T. Every regular participant in these team threads is to varying degrees, the emotionally battered fan that tries to be cautiously optimistic while pretty much knowing the sky can and will fall on our collective heads. I tried really hard this year to be upbeat and what we got was an MVP candidate getting hurt later in a season than anyone I can ever remember. Only in philly. Unreal...
Anyway, at the end of the day the banter in here is actually better than any of the "I'm offended" crap that goes on daily on social media. Let's face it--it's a lot more fun when both teams are relavant. At least for Eagles fans.

yeah i think i would rather see Sudfeld too, but was just saying going into the year i think the Eagles accounted for a good back-up in the position. i think Foles is better then he looked today, and they did have some parts out of the offense all game, but he has to be better too

so which back-ups that were available are better? McNown doesn't count because he wanted a chance to start? it isn't like a grocery store and the Eagles can get back-ups at will. and to say the Foles today is the one you are thinking of, i would love to know why. i think it is a little more anti-Eagles then anything. the answer is that he is likely somewhere between the Giants game and the last 2 weeks. he didn't attempt a pass over 10 yards today, i can almost guarnatee if he is starting in 2 weeks he will have a couple deep balls

See, sometimes a good head coach puts his players in positions to win. The run/pass options the Eagles have been running the last two weeks are very similar to what Foles ran with Chip Kelly when Foles had his great season in 2013. in the last 3 halfs of football, Nick has looked pretty comfortable out there.
Since you are a Cowboy fan, and wouldn't know what a good head coach can do since you haven't had one since the mid 90's, I will give you a pass. I'll just wait for you to come back in the thread and suggest all the other "Better" back-ups the Eagles should have gotten.
