Hmmm...Given this poster's pearls of wisdom in the Roy Williams thread, perhaps this is BDK's alias?
Nice try. Here is another pearl for you Sylvia....

*
Losing by 21...a full 3 TDs...that's gotta suck! *
I'll trade 3 TDs in week 6 for 5 Super Bowl victories every time. Think Big Picture and you'll realize this is not a big deal. Try and show some class, thanks.
Did you just tell someone who responded to yet another * post to "show some class"?

sorry, R. I wasnt really directing that at all Cowboys fans. Just the OP and the character running around throwing *s without really making a point because he knows his team just got hammered.

basically, it means tainted titles. dont have a real problem with the taint. because its reasonable. but moving forward, when a smack talker gets a smack down, he needs to step up and deal, instead of hiding behind the *.

uh...of course it's not a big deal --- who would possibly think beating dallas was a big deal?this is as much of a big deal as putting the beatdown on cleveland was.what is it w/these teams stringing a couple wins together against the dregs of the nfl and thinking they're indy??

OK. That doesn't even deserve a response if that's all he posts. I would like to apologize for any idiot Cowboys fans on the boards. They either were not around for the good times(Staubach-Dorsett-Pearson-Doomsday)+(Aikman-Emmitt-Irvin etc.) or they just are immature. I don't know why NE fans would worry about a *, they've won 3 SBs with Brady. This is NE's good times, right?

I dont think too many of us are real worried about the *, as much as we're just trying to flush out the OP to step up and take his medicine. He had alot to say, and pointed out how we'd all be in hiding come Monday morning. now, an MIA scenario. but indeed, these are the good times.

I think the Cowboys can make the Super Bowl if they stay healthy. I don't think there's a team in the NFC that could have competed like the Cowboys did on Sunday. The right team won and all that stuff but the score was inflated, for most of the 60 minutes it was competitive. Dallas had a lead in the 3rd quarter but the defense just went flat, they were on the field way to long.
1. The defense went flat? I think it is more accurate to say that the Patriots offense wore their defense down. 48 points. 48. 2. The fact that Dallas had a lead for a few minutes means very little. They were outscored 28-3 after that, and when push came to shove in the 4th quarter, the Patriots kicked the Cowboys' asses. It really is that simple. 3. I still hate the Patriots.

Three weeks from now when Dallas punches New England square in the jaw and sends them yankees packing back to Foxboro, I'll be here to tell you I told you so. And how 'bout them COWBOYS!!!!
As a fellow Cowboy fan.....just stop. We wonder why people hate the Cowboys. The Cowboys are a VERY good team with a great offense and an up and coming defense that still needs some work. To say we are going to punch the Pats in the mouth is laughable at best. I think we can give them a game at home and would say that we have a 35-40% to beat them. All other fans please kindly disregard the oridinal poster as he does NOT represent the views of most knowledgable Cowboy fans. That is all.
Grow a pair, you ain't no real Cowboys fan.
famous last words. that's a shame he's going out like this.

Welker is known as one of the better possession receivers in the game.
Really??? Since when? As of two weeks ago? And who exactly recognizes him as "one of the better possession receivers in the game?" Wow, let's go ahead and start carving Welker's bust in Canton. As of early last off-season Welker was nothing more than a special teams player, a poor man's Tim Dwight. Easy on the Welker Kool-aid there buddy.
:goodposting: drink up.

just as I figured.........san diego fans jryou know in your heart dallas is getting spanked.
And who are you again? 29,000+ member? Don't waste our time kid. Sig bets are stupid, go find that bet from someone who cares. One week from now when Dallas has finished beating New England, I anticipate you will be nowhere to be found in this thread.
We have a winner! :blackdot:

Pats this year have one of the best WR corps EVER....Moss #1 pick, future HOFStallworth #1 pickWelker - great possession WRI was trying to think of comparisons - and while you might find comparable #1 and #2 WRs, and maybe a solid TE that compares to Watson, those teams didn't have a #3 like Welker. He really is the X-factor for the Pats.Better than any WR corps the Colts ever had, I think better than the Run-n-shoot Oilers, the Redskins trio, I just can't think of an offensive assembly that matches the Pats team this year.

After a while people realize who to listen to and who to ignore for team info.

Harrison(#1 pick), Wayne (#1 pick), Stokely (great possession/slot wr if matched with a good QB), Dallas Clark (#! pick with freakish measurables like Watson) and Pollard are on equal footing. The 2001 Rams had Holt, Bruce and Faulk who were complimented by Proehl, Az Hakin and Conwell. Not as deep, but Marshall Faulk get the Edge over his cousin, with 800+ receiving yards and 9 receiving td's.

I would actually take Moss over Harrison, he's taller, faster, can jump higher, is equal in hands, just doesn't run as good of routes. Stallworth and Wayne are equals - in fact, I believe had Stallworth not had the hamstring problems, people would be singing his praises as a STUD WR, just look what he's done when 100% healthy...

Welker is better than Stokely - Stokely had what, one good season??

Pollard has been proven to be a product of Manning after floating around the league, and Clark is more an H-Back than TE (nevermind Brady also has Brady a former #1 pick)

I would agree that Bruce and Holt measure up well against Moss and Stallworth - in fact I'd give the Rams the edge there - but Welker is better than Az because he has hands and can run a crossing route. Proehl was sure handed, but slow, fell down every time he caught the ball - ok not every time. Conwell is nowhere near Watson.

I really looked around at the great offensive squads, I just don't see anyone as good as the Pats receiving weapons... I was thinking maybe the Vikes Moss' rookie year, or his second season, pretty close...

wasn't there some guy who was all anxious to bet money?

where's he at, and how'd I know he was a bad credit risk....?

That is crazy to say that. The Rams receiving corps from '99-'01 was better, and oh yeah, they had that fella by the name of Marshall Faulk.

The Pats are on pace for 4891 passing yards and 62 passing TD to go along with 7026 yards from scrimmage and 638 points scored. There's more than half the season to go, so it remains to be seen if the Pats can maintain their phenomenal production level. While the Rams may have had bigger names, the Pats are certainly worthy of being in the discussion of top offenses.

This thread is great. Come on Kane, take your medicine. Don't lose all your dignity by hiding. If your gonna spout off about kicking a teams ###, then show up like you would have had the Cowboys won. Man up my friend..

Yeah this thread is good and it has a great chance to be visited again at the end of January. Maybe Kane will show back up before then. I would say Dallas and NE are both the favorites to make it from each conference and Dallas may have a better shot considering they do not have to play in the crazy AFC. Washington Green Bay Seattle and NYG are what Dallas has to worry about. Does not hold a candle to Indy Jac SD Pitt

amber alert
I sure hope he's ok...
This is more depressing than Miami losing Ronnie Brown.I sure hope this Board has not lost Big Daddy Kane for an extended period of time due to a partially torn ego. Very few posters have fully recovered from such an injury.
AP reports a Fully torn ego.
WOW this thread is still on page one, LOL
This is the 2007 ReShard Lee thread, and it ain't going anywhere until a whole bunch of crow is eaten.

bumpI'm really getting worried about BDKane. Really. Worried.
I'm kinda ok with him not being around. He wasn't a real cowboy fan. A real fan knows when his/her team is up against a challenge or is just not good. I know my team is good, but I also knew NE was just going to be too much for them.

you think he drank himself to death?syrus just went into hiding, too.
You know he's around probably using a couple of different aliases hiding behind an asterisk mask. You wanna find him? Just visit a NE Patriot thread of any kind and look for the most non-sensically biased and ridiculous posts available. That'll be your guy. Poor guy.

Look, pal, we're trying to narrow this down a bit.

:goodposting: That would only cut out about 10% of the pool.

;)

If Terry Glenn returns to full health... you have to argue that the Cowboys with TO, Glenn, emerging wideouts (Creighton & Herd), and the TE play Witten (Fasano against GB) is looking pretty nice.

Been a good year, Cowboys fans. Congrats on all the Pro Bowlers. No team is more deserving of having ELEVEN Pro Bowlers. Well....almost no team.

Btw, anyone ever here from the knucklehead that started this thread??? Or pinpointed an alias? Tough loss.
