Da'Rel Scott - Longterm Value (1 Viewer)

What are everyone's thoughts? This season and beyond?

Wilson coming back in 1 or 2 weeks after getting out of the dog-house? Scott moved to 3rd fiddle after Brown comes back as well?

Scott has very very very very limited potential for fantasy purposes. We saw him used on almost 50 percent of the snaps this weekend and still he amounted to nothing except a wide open garbage time catch where he literally just walked into the end zone with nobody in front of him. He's someone who wouldn't even be on the team right now if Andre Brown had stayed healthy. He's a borderline NFL talent at best.

I think if they throw Wilson to the Curb....he could be a nice fantasy find off the waiver wire. The word VALUE comes to mind here if Wilson gets into the dog house all year.

they almost cut this guy, andre brown should be back week 10, and they have jacobs and wilson splitting carries. no thanks

I'd definitely hold Scott on deep benches because you just never know how this situation will unfold. For example, if Wilson fumbles on his first week 3 carry will that cause more opportunity for Scott? I'd say yes. If either Wilson/Jacobs become injured, will that lead to greater opportunity? Again, I'd say yes. This RB corps is so ridiculously thin and has so many unpredicatble variables that Scott could hold value this year. I don't know that one could make 'long term' decisions on this player though, and would expect that to be determined only if/whether Scott takes advantage of opportunities. JMHO, I do think Scott is getting short shrift on his physical talents in the 'David Wilson owners unite' thread. Chip and a chair.
