I'm in some deep QB leagues and was mulling over the possible outcomes in Oakland. I see some hope of improvement with the new coaching staff and have been targeting Culpepper as a late QB2 or QB3. This is solely based on his past production and former fantasy stardom in Minny. What's the feeling on the board about the QB's in Oakland?

Culpepper as a QB2 = very risky play.

Culpepper as QB3 after you have a solid QB2 already = strong play.

Culpepper as QB4 = ludicrous value.

I choose none of the above...I think Culpepper starts the majority of the Raiders games, but I'm not willing to give him QB15+ numbers.

Culpepper coming off the past two years + Raiders = Perfection. Its like Gin and Tonic. Apart, terrible. Together... delectible.

I hope you're right. I may actually need C-Pep with Big Ben and Garcia as my QBs.
I dont expect anything, but these are the facts:Raiders have some weapons on offense. We arent talking Marv, Wayne and Addai but Jordan can be more than serviceable and I think Curry and Porter are athletic enough to cause some damage. The franchise has a long history of resurrection projects.Russell is not even signed and I can't see why the team would be in any rush right now. Chances are Dante disappoints us again - but if you draft him way late, we have actually SEEN him be one of the top 2 QBs in FF for a while there.

This doesn't make any sense. If most people are simply picking him up off the waiver wire or drafting him rediculously late, you shouldn't be expecting much (hence you shouldn't be disappointed as if you drafted him in the top 15 of QBs).

Alot of C-Pep love here. So why is his ADP non-existent????
Players are always underrated when they're coming off an injury (see Steve Smith, Javon Walker, Carson Palmer, Ben Roethlisberger, etc), and for some reason Daunte Culpepper is one of the most irrationally hated players in the league. He's the new Jake Plummer- an above-average at worst, very good at best QB who everyone decided was rubbish based on some inconsistant play a half dozen years ago in a different world, who has absolutely no chance whatsoever to change anyone's mind at this point.
