Is it time to just cut bait? This guy has not done much of anything. Nowhere near the tackle numbers I was expecting?

I was just about to start a topic on this.

In week 1 the Jets D was on the field for 2/3 of the game and he finished with just 2 solo/2 assists.

Then yesterday he didn't do much either.

I'm starting to think that maybe he doesn't have the nose for the ball that a lot of people think:

In 45 career games now, he has only: 3.5 tackles for loss, 2 int, 9 pd

I'd give him one more week against a Miami team that WILL run the ball.

The other dilemma with him is if HIS offense controls the ball with their running game then is time on the field and opps are reduced especially if you are looking for tackle numbers.

That is a similar dilemma I have been a Ray Lewis owner. The Ravens dominated the ball in Week 1 and collectively has a team are 31st in solo tackles. But I agree that Harris should get another week.

James Laurinaitis got dropped and I'm still waiting on Harris to perform... Do I make the move or stick with Harris?

How would someone drop Laurenitis? I would definitely pick him up QUICK!

What, does your league start only 1 LB or something?

I made the move.

He was dropped after week 1 for Lance Briggs by someone, but it was like one of 20 waiver moves happening at the same time, so I don't think anyone realized he was out there. Our league is new to IDP and we have a DL, DB, LB, and general D spot. I read something about the Rams being really stingy at giving assisted tackles out and thought maybe that would be a reason not to grab him earlier - I'm assuming by everyone's reaction, it isn't a big deal? :lmao:

Thanks

David Harris at New England:

11/22/09 - 11 solo, 3 assist

12/06/10 - 4 solo, 2 assist, 1 sack

01/16/11 - 9 solo, 3 assist, 1 int, 58 rtn yds

10/09/11 - 7 solo, 2 assist, 1 sack

10/21/12 - 7 solo, 1 assist, 1 sack

Impressive.
