Deadly Animal Draft (1 Viewer)

A little late, but Mrs. Lindsay's First Grade Class had this to say about the Cheetah: "The cheetah is a very fast cat. It can reach a speed of 110 kilometers per hour in seconds. Cheetahs eat meat. They follow their prey. Only 2,400 cheetahs remain in the wild. It is endangered."Mrs. Lindsay's First Grade Class did not weigh in on the Blue Point Himalayan, but said this about the Himalayan's only known enemy: "The monarch butterfly eats nectar from flowers. The butterfly only flies during the day. They can fly up to 20 miles per hour. The butterfly leaves cold weather and flies to a warmer place. This is called migration"
 How sad. Look at the little guy try.

He seemed to really want a cat.  I give you the world's smallest cat - The Blue Point Himalayan.Completely useless, and as a bonus it looks really upset about something (that last pick, perhaps?)
There you have it, TLEF's 4th rounder, The Blue Point Himalayan
Dear God - the Tazmanian Devil could inhale that thing.
The first one's head looks strangely similar to that French Gorilla. Are they sub-species cousins?

im confused. when was the cheetah picked? ill take the punishment, but i dont think its fair that i get penalized for not reading the first page of a 50 pg thread.

It was included in the removal of the jaguar/leopard/etc. etc. species

It was interspersed throughout the draft, I posted it on page one, so you would not HAVE to read all 50 pages.

By proxy, rover picks:Indian Grey Mongoose. Biggest and baddest of the mongoose, this is the one you want--the cobra killer. With all the poisonous snakes on the board, this guy's my specialist, and quick enough to avoid being squished by big beasts.________________________Not too early for a defensive specialist...
very nice. i would have done that if i didn't have to select a russian bride.essentially a sniper to take out other teams' snakes.great pick.

thats garbage, its a totally diferent animal!!o well, i guess its what i get for not reading pg 1 every 5 minutes

I researched it and posted it at least three times so that there would not be confusion (like this). Its also why I put it on page one, where you would HAVE to go to see what was picked.

lmao at the monarch butterfly, the only known enemy of the world's smallest re-tarded cat.

With the introduction of Birds as a requirement I have decided to grab what I think is truly the top bird on the list, the Ostrich. At approximately 9 ft tall, 345 lbs. this is one tough bird. Ostriches are so powerful that a single kick at a predator, such as a lion, could be fatal. Ostriches can run up to 40 mph and can outpace most pursuers, such as lions, leopards, and hyenas. And this is one of only two documented man killing birds on the planet.

Struthio camelus: Ostrich

thats the point, i just checked the animals that had been picked and made a selection that hadnt been made. i knew leopards and tigers had been locked but cheetahs and leopards are not the same animal, so i dont find the ruling to be just

So what would you suggest I do to keep everone informed and up to date. I mean MORE than what I am doing 12 hours a day now? Maybe 5x a day color newsletter?

nobody said the ruling had to be.per page one, we are all at his mercy, much to the delight of the lurkers.ps, your wife is pregnant.

o well, i obviously cant win. i try everything i can to make my picks on time. i pm'd 4 picks to you 6 picks before my selection this morning, and i get stuck with a tiny cat while someone else gets a tasmanian devil. i guess those are the breaks

I think the cat should be pregnant with an unholy half-human. With an arm sticking out.

 A badass bird, to be sure. But in this arena, a bird that can't fly -- big or not -- is on the expressway to McNuggets.

im certainly not blaming you. i know you are giving up your time to do this. i guess you just have to sit on this board all day to not get stuck with a scrub on your rosterif someone would like to take over my team, please do so. judging by the way this thing is going, i clearly dont have time to keep up with it

i tried to be on time too. out of pure fear of messing up i posted my pick one pick too early, making me lose the opportunity to get the mongoose and have to settle for the Siberian nightmare.

i apologize for the ignorance of my fellow drafters.if nothing else, did noone see 7even?
Never saw it...see about 1 movie a year, if that. And the religion exposure was brief and minimal...kind of put on my plate, and left to decide.I decided against it. ;) Sloth, shmoth...I felt bad for the creature. I guess nobody saw it. It was awesome.Oh, and I still can't believe my sleepers.

I'm sure there's other Mongeese out there, but no more Brunhelda Beasts like yours.

My feeling is in one pick I get something that can work against the big cats and that fufills a required lineup slot. I don't think that eagle is taking out any lions.

With their 4th round pick, the Food Chain Dominators select:

American Crocodile Crocodylus acutus

On average, slightly smaller than the much-hyped Saltwater Croc (taken @ 1.9), and the same size as the Nile Croc (taken @ 2.6).

Considering the Salty is missing a leg and an eye, I would say it matches up with either without a problem, exhibiting HUGE value at this point (more than 2 rounds later).

A no-brainer to be sure.

Okay big fella, don't get upset. We are trying to have fun here. I tell you what. I am going to set you up with a disability that could reap huge dividends.First off, you are discounting the female sympathy vote that you are going to at least split witht he finger monkey.. but besides that, your kitten is now rabid. That's right, hydrpphobia... no other creature in its right mind will venture near the little hairball. Good enough?

Clearly, you should have referenced a junior-high disseration on jungle cats.

that re-tarded cat would probably bite itself.
