I am not sure how many offers are out there yet. I would assume many leagues are waiting on waivers to go through. I think he is a MUST add. It is not very often you can pick up someone with that much value off of the WW. Furthermore, even if I do not get him through waiver I will definitely be trying to trade FOR him in every league.

I would imagine most folks are going to wait to see how he does in his first start at quarterback since high school before assigning any kind of reasonable value to him.

I agree that is too high. I am thinking he will be a good #2 QB. He has the weapons, but top 10? I think he will be somewhere in the 10-15 range. I do like him more than Hasselbeck, Bulger, Campbell and guys like that.

He has Welker/Moss and good line. He should easily be top 12 unless Billy boy remembers how to run the football.

I traded Cassel and Marvin Harrison to a pissed off Brady/ Holt owner for Holt.
I don't think this last week is at all indicative of how he will play this season. (holt i mean)

I just acquired Cassel for Pierre Thomas... It's a 16 team 6 keeper league and the QB position is my obvious weak spot.

He passed through our waivers without even being picked up. I added him in open free agent signing period to replace Vince Young. He seems to be drawing little interest in my league. Just for a little more information the next few QBs available still are Pennington, Russell and O'Sullivan.

The Brady owner is in my division (we are both 1-0) and I claimed Cassell yesterday. Should I try to trade him Cassell before our game (we play in week 3), or after the game....which would potentially give him time to show if he is garbage or not? The Brady owner had VY as his backup and is relying on Flacco as his starting QB.
I'm gonna try to get one of his RB's (Parker, McGahee, Graham or K.Smith).
