Decision Reversed. CBS awards Championship to Team A (1 Viewer)

Why is there conflicting information in here about the rules? Just post the rules exactly as they appear on the site.

Teams Overview

*You are allowed as many as 9 players in your starting lineup, according to the positional requirements listed in the table above. However the numbers in the "starting lineup" column represent the "maximum" number of players you may have at each position. You may use fewer players than the number listed at each position without penalty.
QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, K, D/ST = 8. The rule states you can start 9 players. Does that mean that there is some sort of flex player or that you can start different combinations of players? If that were the case, the "You may use fewer players than the number listed at each position without penalty." might be meant to describe starting 1 RB and 3 WR, 2 RB and 3 WR with no TE, etc. etc. etc. It still would be wrong if you hold it to a letter of the law standard but, most fantasy football websites aren't run by lawyers and expect that owners will understand the rules. If it indeed is the case, then I could see where the computer would declare the lineup illegal because it didn't have a starting QB. So, is there some sort of flex player or lineup variations allowed?

So it's clear that Team A should be the winner...I'm still curious about the part where dabommers said CBS awarded it to Team B...why did that happen?

Could have been a glitch in CBS system?

Along the same pattern of the 1948 "Dewey Defeats Truman" premature call, most likely predating all but a few (but not all) in this forum, I have a screenshot of the CBS league front page yesterday calling Team B the CHAMPION over Team A.

Of course, today the CBS league's front page it calls Team A the CHAMPION.

Would have been simply awesome to have Team B win this. Will never understand you morons that take guys out of your lineup.

Didn't read your or the CBS rules, but I'd give Team A a 0 for the week. Lesson learned.
