Democratic Debate (1 Viewer)

Bernie on such thin ice in foreign policy vs. Hillary
She does have him in this area for sure. She wants this topic to last the rest of the debate.
He wins on judgment...she wins on quantity
She also wins on resume.
he doesn't have a foreign policy resume, so....good for her?
No foreign policy experience > Foreign policy experience with nothing but failure
I'll tell that to a NFL football team when Romeo Crennel, Lane Kiffin, Steve Spurrier, or Lou Holtz are applying for a head coaching job compared to a fat guy slamming beers from his couch. At least the fat guy hasn't failed yet I guess.
Bernie has more experience than Obama. You can hire out the foreign policy stuff. Plenty of lifers in DC to advise him.

You brought up resume  Is a ####ty resume better than no resume?? I wouldn't even know how to evaluate that.

Seems like an inordinate amount of time on Foreign Policy.
It's sort of an important part of what the president does.

Wow, is Bernie lost on international relations.
Weird. You lefties weren't that concerned with Foreign Policy experience when Obama was running. NOW it's important?
Actually polls show that we lefties pretty much never are concerned with foreign policy, a fact Bernie appears to be banking on

:goodposting:

Similar to what I had posted earlier. I'd like to know what has changed now for Democrats that foreign policy experience is so much more important today than it was when Obama was running on zero experience?

I don't see that as a negative for Bernie at all.

Sanders proposed 20 billion VA bill and got 10 billion. If only he was more pragmatic, he would have proposed a 10 billion dollar bill and got 5 billion. Oh well.

MoP and Tim banged and had a baby.

I hate to say it, but Hillary's doing well tonight.
She's exposing Bernie. She's going to get killed in NH, but this will set her up nicely afterwards.
What "new" have we learned about Bernie tonight?
anything?
Nothing he wants will happen. He won't be able to pass any of these grand ideas, because that's all they are. He's never passed anything of significance. Finally Hillary calls a spade a spade. He gives people a false hope people get when they buy a lottery ticket. But at the end of the day, it ends it disappointment.
No We Can't!

That tact worked great in 08. How uplifting.

Is "electability" really a thing still? Clinton's favorability numbers are right in line with the "less crazy" GOPers not Trump.....what else is there to discuss?

Just by you poltical nuts who blow everything out of proportion.

A lot of normal, average people in this country think she's the best candidate available.

Hillary was more well prepared tonight...good night for her IMHO.

Bernie isn't evolving/adapting as well...it's the same message and Hillary is learning to counterpunch.

 I am asking why it is still being brought up....as in, it's not an issue (at least worth discussing).

Is this Colin Powell info correct, hadn't heard that? I know there are people who have dedicated their lives to that topic.

And 10x that number think she is the worst.
Clintons and Bushs are the NY Yankees and Dallas Cowboys of politics. You either love them or hate them. And they win a lot. Except for Jeb, he's the Tony Romo of the era.

He had work emails on his private email account...he DID NOT have his own server....neither did Condi.
It's an apples to oranges comparison, IMO. Nothing but a smoke screen by Gang Hillary. Neither Condi or Powell had the FBI investigating them. Or, for that matter, had their own server in their bathroom.
