Yeah some of these look like designed plays for Moreno too. It's not like Manning is just checking down to him. It's unusual play calling for sure. Several of the Colts failed 3rd conversions have been a Moreno catch or run that came up short.

Marino ran the same formation many times, it was always called the shotgun. The Niners IMO got that pistol thing going and now you never hear the word shotgun. Just my .02 bud.
