According to NFL.com's Adam Schefter, Ryan Torain (questionable, elbow) will be active Sunday against Miami and "split carries" with Michael Pittman. It's uncertain what "split" means; it may be a 70:30 share in Pittman's favor or 50:50 with Torain and Pittman splitting right down the middle. It does look like Torain will be Denver's No. 2 back ahead of both Andre Hall and Selvin Young. Because of the matchup against a stout Dolphins run defense, Pittman and Torain are both weak RB2/flex plays. But Schefter says that if Torain excels right off the bat, his workload "will increase quickly and dramatically" in the second half of the season. That will be tough for Torain to do, however, as his first carry Sunday will be his first as an NFL player. Source: NFL.com
