Thanks to whoever reminded me to redo this by bumping the old one.

Anyway, the whole goal of these threads is to measure how opinion the popular opinion regarding Denver RB shifts during the course of the season. We're not here to argue with each other about who we think is the best, or who will win the job, or who is a turd... this is sort of like an exit poll. I'm just trying to get a feel for popular opinions. So pretty pretty please, no arguing or discussing in this thread. Heck, pretend the quote button doesn't even exist. Thanks very much for your help. :)

Actually, thanks to some fancy new poll options, if you don't want to, you don't even have to reply to this thread. Just vote in the poll. :)

Is the ranking question for overall or just among the RB position?
Among RBs only.Edit: And man, may I say that these new fancy polls are really fantastic?

SSOG,always good info and insight on the Denver situation.

MA won me a championship last year and here's hoping MBell will do the same !! :banned:

I said Tatum, not because I think he'll be #1, but I see him as having the highest probability of getting a lot of play time. I would happily grab M. Bell in a later round, but I don't think he has near the grip on the starting job that Mike Anderson did. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if Cobbs, Nash, or Dayne ended up with the biggest numbers for Denver at the end of the year. I *would* be surprised if Tatum didn't put up close to 1000/10.

I'm assuming that the earlier rumor posted today regarding Cobbs was unsubstantiated?
As far as I can tell from all of the major Denver publications, there hasn't been even a breath of a whisper of Cobbs becoming the starter. Every action from the Denver staff also contradicts the statement that Cobbs will be the starter. For instance, I don't think Cobbs has gotten a single carry with the first-string offense. What probably happened was that the statement was that Cobbs would start the FINAL PRESEASON GAME. That doesn't mean anything, other than that Mike Bell has a stronger grip on the starting job than we imagined. Mike Shanahan always rests the starters in the final week of the preseason, unless he feels like they need extra work. If Mike Bell sits, then not only is Shanahan declaring him the starter, he's also going on record as saying that Mike Bell doesn't need any extra work- he's already ready for prime time.

I like the sound of that.

Put me down for:

Mike Bell - barring injury, will be the top RB all season.
ranked in the 16-20 tier - as discused previously, I believe that the Broncos will pass more this year than they have in the past.
do not actively target - I don't actively target anyone - I let the draft come to me.
have been helped by Bronco RB's in the past - where there is value, I'll find it and ride it all season.
