Would this be super annoying to you, or do you respect it?

Derrick Johnson going crazy in the Pro Bowl tonight blasting guys left and right. Looks like everyone else is having a nice leisurely scrimmage, and guy is playing like it's the Super Bowl.

Annoying or respectable?

TIA

Who watches this anymore? Eliminate the game. Vote guys to the pro bowl like normal so people get their bonuses. Let the nfl provide an expense paid trip to Hawaii for all the players. Have a skills competition that airs on nfl network or something. A media session and united way contribution/event and/or play 60 thing and that's it.

It was actually a pretty fun game to watch this year, for the first time ever.

I'm not sure if its telling or not, but on a football message board, between two threads, the probowl has 54 posts, compared to 67 in the Grammy thread, as of now.

My kids enjoyed watching it. They are still at that age where it's cool to see the guys with the Chiefs helmets playing in the "All Star" game. Thus, was fun for me watching it with them.

Agreed! My daughter (10 years old) was confused at 1st as to who Rice and Sanders were and why teammates were playing on opposite teams but she thought it was cool

so sounds like the NFL has done a good job making the Pro Bowl marketable to 10 year old girls.

11.7 million viewers on Sunday, which was a half-million fewer than the 12.2 million viewers the game received in 2013. There were 12.5 million viewers in 2012. Still a good amount though.

If the format stays the same and the players put in the same effort, you will see that number start to rise over the next few years.

I think a lot of people never watched a second of it. Now they are hearing from others that the game was competitive and actual kinda fun to watch, the will tune in next year.
